WWE Prepones WWE Championship Match for RAW September 13 Episode

WWE has announced WWE Champion Bobby Lashley vs Randy Orton match for WWE RAW episode on September 13, 2021.

Last week, Bobby Lashley and MVP won the Tag Team Turmoil match to become #1 contenders for WWE RAW Tag Team Championship. Randy Orton and Riddle currently hold the Tag Titles on the Red Brand.

The rivalry between the two teams, Hurt Business and RK-Bro, started two weeks back when Riddle ended up challenging the Hurt Business for a title match. RK-Bro was able to retain the title by pinning MVP in the title match. WWE announced that the rematch will take place on the next RAW episode after Hurt Business became the #1 contender again.

But those plans seem to have changed as WWE announced the WWE Championship match during Super SmackDown episode on Friday night. Orton has challenged Lashley for the WWE title match, and it was earlier announced for Extreme Rules PPV.

Currently, there is no news on why WWE preponed the WWE title match to RAW. But Vince McMahon has been switching around RAW’s scripts in recent weeks after not being happy with the direction of the show.

WWE RAW episode on September 13 will air from TD Garden Arena in Boston, Ma. Doudrop vs Eva Marie is the only other match that is confirmed for the show as of writing this article.
