WWE Announces UK Events, First International Tour Since Start of COVID-19

WWE has announced that live events in United Kingdom which will be their first International Tour since the start of COVID-19 Pandemic.

WWE on BTSports handle on Twitter has posted that WWE will be doing a four-city tour of the UK in September 2021. London, Newcastle, Cardiff, and Glasgow are announced to the cities that would hold WWE events during this tour.

The confirmed dates and locations are not revealed as of now. Also, it is not clear at this point whether WWE will tape either of RAW or SmackDown or some PPV show during this tour.

It is expected that WWE will hold SmackDown taping at Maddison Square Garden on 10 September and RAW taping at TD Garden in Boston on 13 September. Clash of Champions event is also rumored to take place in the United States with Columbus, Ohio being the rumored location for the 26 September event.

So, it will be interesting to see the dates of this UK tour from WWE.

Historically, WWE has toured UK and other parts of Europe twice in a year. The first tour used to be around the start of summer while the other used to be in November month. However, both tours were cancelled last year while this year’s Summer tour was also scrapped due to travel restrictions and other issues due to COVID-19.

Update: WWE has announced the tour from 19 September to 22 September.

  • 19 September 2021 – Utilita Arena, Newcastle, England
  • 20 September 2021 – O2 Arena, London, England(RAW Taping)
  • 21 September 2021 – Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff, Wales
  • 22 September 2021 – The SSE Hydro, Glasgow, Scotland
