Impact Roundup: Announcements for Hard to Kill, Name for Kenny’s Stable

Two title matches and surpise is announced for Impact Hard to Kill PPV and we might have a name for Kenny Omega’s stable at Impact Wrestling.

X-Division Triple Threat Match- A Triple Threat for the X-Division Championship is announced for the Impact Hard To Kill 2021 PPV. The match will see the current X-Division Champion Manik, formerly TJP from WWE, defend his title in a triple threat match.

Manik defeated Rohit Raju for the title at Impact Final Resolution event two weeks back. A rematch was then announced for Hard to Kill event. Chris Bey, who defeated Manik last week in a singles match, revealed that he has been added to the match at PPV.

Knockout Championship Match- At tonight’s Impact Wrestling episode, Taya Valkyrie challenged Deonna Purrazzo to a title match at Hard To Kill. Valkyrie warned that Purrazzo is lucky she hasn’t had to face her yet, but that time will come next month.

Surprise for Knockout Tag Team Championship Final: In another announcement, Impact Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore said that there will be a surprise at Hard To Kill for the Knockouts Tag Team Titles. The title is reintroduced in the division for the first time after 2013. A tournament is going on for crowning the new champion and the finals will take place at Hard to Kill PPV.

New Name For Former Bullet Club Trio- Talking about the PPV, AEW World Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega will be joined by his former Bullet Club partners Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows(Impact Tag Team Champions) to take on Impact World Champion Rich Swann and The Motor City Machine Gun.

Now, Omega’s group might finally have a name for themselves. In his recent tweet, Impact Executive Vice President Don Callis said, “Can’t wait for #HardToKill when this Super Elite unit rocks the world of @IMPACTWRESTLING.” You can see the tweet below.

It is been said that the “Super Elite” will be the name of the trio of Omega, Anderson and Gallows going forward in Impact. The name would be a variation of The Elites that Kenny’s group is called in AEW right now and was earlier used in ROH.
