Chase Owens is not going anywhere and would stay with NJPW for a few more years as he signed a new contract with the promotion.

Recently, Owens announced that his contract with NJPW ended on January 1 and he became a free agent on February 1.

Before fans even began to speculate about his future, Owens announced that he re-signed with the promotion. On February 2, Chase Owens revealed on Twitch that he would stay with NJPW for a freaking long time.

He also stated that his last contract was two years, and the current one is way longer than that. He explained it by saying he is currently 31 and would be near 40 when this contract ends.

Chase Owens is currently on a leave and will return to the promotion on February 24. He has been with the promotion since 2014.

Owens is a member of the Bullet Club and last wrestled at the Night Two of the Wrestle Kingdom 16 in a four-way match against Minoru Suzuki, CIMA, and Toru Yano.
