Humberto Carrillo Wins Battle Royal at Crown Jewel 2019

Humberto Carrillo won the 20 Men Battle Royal at WWE Crown Jewel 2019 pre-show and will face WWE United States Champion AJ Styles in the main show.

WWE earlier announced a 20 men Battle Royal for WWE Crown Jewel 2019 pre-show. The winner would be granted a title shot for WWE United States Championship against AJ Styles. The participants for the Battle Royal were- WWE 24/7 Champion Sunil Singh, Mojo Rawley, Erick Rowan, R-Truth, Sin Cara, The Brian Kendrick, Titus O’Neil, Tony Nese, Akira Tozawa, Shelton Benjamin, Apollo Crews, Buddy Murphy, Andrade, Drake Maverick, Eric Young, Luke Harper, Cedric Alexander, Heath Slater, Humberto Carrillo, No Way Jose.

As the match went on at WWE Crown Jewel 2019, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper started working in tandem but also had a hot and cold relationship during the match. Rowan, Harper and Humberto Carrillo were the last three men remaining in the match. The Bludgeon Brothers worked on Carrillo for a bit by demolishing him in the corner. But Rowan pushed over Harper as he went to throw over Carrillo. Carrillo was also quick to push Rowan and get the win.

Humberto Carrillo made his RAW debut last week against WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins in a losing cause. Carrillo also faced AJ Styles earlier this week on RAW but once again lost.
