UFC Vegas 62 Results LIVE, Grasso vs Araujo, Swanson v Martinez
UFC will be back with Fight Night 212 event on October 15, 2022, which is popularly known as UFC Vegas 62: Grasso vs Araujo.
The headliner bout will feature Alexa Grasso vs Viviane Araujo in a women’s flyweight bout. The bout was earlier scheduled for August 13 but got postponed due to Grasso’s visa issues. This bout replaced the original headliner between Shane Strickland and Jared Cannonier, which is shifted to December due to Strickland’s injury.
Grasso enters the bout with three wins in a row, but she will be taking a second bout in a year for the first time since 2019. Araujo bounced back from a loss to Katlyn Chookagian by defeating Andrea Lee earlier this year. The winner might be in line to face Valentina Shevchenko next for the flyweight title. Which one will it be though?
Cub Swanson enters the octagon for the 22nd time, but it will be his bantamweight debut this time around. He faces Jonathan Martinez who has quietly picked up three unanimous decision wins in a row.
