UFC 271: Tai Tuivasa, Jared Cannonier got Performance of the Night Bonus

This past Saturday, UFC presented its second PPV event of this year in the form of UFC 271. It was quite a thrilling event and by its end, a total of four bonuses were handed out. 

Jared Cannonier and Tai Tuivasa earned an extra paycheck of $50,000 as they earned “Performance of the Night” bonuses for their commendable show.

Jared Cannonier knocked out Derek Brunson in the second round of their fight. This fight earned him the fifth UFC bonus of his career. After the fight, Jared called out Dana White and asked for a title shot, and the latter even reportedly agreed to it. 

Meanwhile, Tai Tuivasa pulled off a major upset as he defeated Derrick Lewis via TKO in the co-main event of UFC 271. It was the fourth time Tuivasa earned a bonus in the UFC. 

Whereas Douglas Silva De Andrade vs Sergey Morozov earned the title of “Fight of the Night” as both the athletes displayed some back and forth action. It was the third time Andrade got a bonus whereas Mozorov received it for the very first time.
