Report on UFC 264 PPV Buys, Conor McGregor & Dustin Poirier Payouts

UFC 264 Showdown

Conor McGregor has once again emerged as the biggest draw as UFC 264 has garnered 1.8 million PPV buys.

The Notorious lost the Lightweight bout to Dustin Poirier after the first round as he fractured his tibia. The win for Poirier has elevated him to the #1 contender position while the loss for McGregor has hurt his stocks from in-ring prospects.

But it has not dampened McGregor’s status as one of the biggest draws in combat sports. The 1.8 million buys are the second-best UFC PPV numbers after 2.4 million buys of UFC 229: McGregor vs Khabib.

As per a report from MMA Salaries, McGregor has also pocketed a $23,011,000 payout in total from UFC 264. He was guaranteed a $5 million purse by UFC for the main event showdown. He will get $18 million more as a PPV bonus.

Poirier will get $3.6 million from PPV buys and $1.5 million as a base salary for the main event of UFC 264.

Among other wrestlers, Gilburt Burns will get $256,000 and Stephen Thompson will get $166,000 from the 10 July event. Sean O’Malley completes the top 5 earners from UFC 264 with $261,000 fight purse.
