The Rock’s Label Signs a New Deal with UFC
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s athletic wear label “Project Rock” has recently signed a new multi-year partnership deal with the UFC.
According to this agreement, Project Rock’s athletic shoes will serve as the global footwear for the promotion. The Rock himself announced this news on his official Instagram handle.
The caption of The Rock’s Instagram post reads, “We are now the OFFICIAL GLOBAL FOOTWEAR of the UFC. Thank you MMA community, fans, and the UFC for the amazing support & positive energy for our new partnership.”
The Rock also added it is his privilege to play a small part in the journey of all the UFC athletes as they define their legacy.
Earlier, Reebok served as the official footwear partner of the UFC. Now, this sports brand will be replaced by Project Rock. They will sponsor the shoes for the workouts, weigh-ins, locker rooms, and fight-week events.
The Rock posted another video from the weigh-ins of UFC 270 in which Francis Ngannou and Cirly Gane were wearing shoes from his athletic-wear brand.
