Melvin Manhoef vs Yoel Romero to Co-Main Event Bellator Paris
Yoel Romero is all set to collide against Melvin Manhoef in the co-main event of Bellator Paris on May 6, 2022.
Bellator officially announced this bout and confirmed that a two-time UC middleweight title challenger will square off against Manhoef in a lightweight bout.
This will be Yoel Romero’s second bout with Bellator as he recently made his promotional debut last year in September. Romero’s Bellator journey began with a loss as he lost his very first match at Bellator 266 against Phil Davis via split decision.
Meanwhile, Melvin Manhoef also lost his last bout to Corey Anderson via second-round TKO. So, he must be looking to rebound from this loss as well by winning the co-main event of Bellator Paris.
On the other hand, Romero is determined to get his first win under the banner of Bellator. Now, it will be interesting to see which one of these Lightweights will walk out of the octagon with victory on May 6.
