According to the latest reports, Kai Kara-France is all set to collide against Brandon Moreno for the UFC Flyweight interim title at UFC 277 in July.
Ariel Helwani reported that the matchup for the interim title bout is in the works for the PPV event which will take place on July 30. He also revealed that the UFC Flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo is currently dealing with a finger injury and hence the interim title bout is in the works.
Kai Kara-France and Brandon Moreno have already collided once at UFC 245 where Moreno defeated Kara-France via unanimous decision.
Brandon Moreno is coming off a unanimous decision loss against Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC 270 where he lost the UFC Flyweight title. Before that, he managed to defeat Figueiredo via submission to win the flyweight championship.
On the other hand, Kai-Kara France is on a three-fight winning streak and is coming off a unanimous decision victory against Askar Askarov.
Kara-France will try to avenge his UFC 245 loss against Moreno whereas the latter will try to get his hands back on the title when they collide at UFC 277 on July 30.
