Bellator 273 will be Bellator’s first event of the year 2022 that is scheduled to take place on January 29, 2022. It is all set to feature a Heavyweight title unification bout between Ryan Bader and Valentin Moldavsky. The event will air live from the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
Ryan Bader is on an 11-fight winning streak and will make his return after a long wait of more than two years. His last title defense was against Cheick Kongo that came at Bellator 243 back in 2019. On the other hand, Valentin Moldavsky is Bellator’s first-ever interim Heavyweight champion, who will now collide against Bader in the unification bout.
A lightweight bout between Benson Henderson and Islam Mamedov, Henry Corrales vs Aiden Lee and Sabah Homasi vs Jaleel Willis are announced for the main card.
