According to the latest reports, Ange Looza will replace Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos in a bout against Mounir Lazzes at UFC Vegas 52.
Elizeu Zaleski has been ruled out of the upcoming UFC event due to an unknown reason. Fortunately, Ange Loosa agreed to fill in his position on very short notice, and now he will face Lazzez in a welterweight bout.
Wrestling Observer’s Ryan Frederick reported this news first which was later confirmed by MMA Junkie. Last year in September, Ange Loosa failed to earn the UFC contract in Dana White contender series 39.
But, now he will finally make his promotional debut this Saturday. He would like to keep the winning momentum as he defeated former UFC fighter John Harward at XMMA 4 just ten days ago.
Meanwhile, Mounir Lazzez will return to the octagon after more than a year. He had his last fight in January 2021 where he suffered a TKO loss against Warlley Alves.
Hence, Lazzez must be looking forward to rebounding from his last loss upon his return whereas Ange Loosa will try his best to make his debut fight in UFC.
