Three Locations Being Considered for Joshua vs Usyk Rematch

Anthony Joshua vs Oleksander Usyk II might take place very soon and reportedly the promotion is looking for the locations for the IBF/WBA/WBO Heavyweight Championship rematch. 

The promoter of Usyk will soon meet the promoter of Joshua to decide the location for the rematch. Ukraine, the UK, and the Middle East are three current favorite locations for this rematch. 

The site fee will be the main factor that will decide the location. Hearn will certainly like Anthony Joshua vs Oleksander Usyk II to take place in the UK. However, they do not get the right amount of money, then the location will be shifted to either Ukraine or the Middle East.

The first match between these fighters took place in London. Usyk completely dominated the match and won it by unanimous decision. However, Joshua has activated his rematch clause so that he can avenge his humiliating loss against Oleksander Usyk. 

Alexander Krassyuk, Usyk’s promoter had a chat with Sky Sports where he revealed his plan to meet Eddie Hearn in order to start the rematch activities.

The rematch between these fighters will likely take place in March or April 2022 and the fans can expect to hear an official announcement by the end of this year.
