George Kambosos Jr vs Teofimo Lopez Might Take Place on November 13

There is a possibility that the much-awaited lightweight bout between George Kambosos Jr and Teofimo Lopez will take place on November 13.

Kambosos himself stated that he is hearing this date from the promoters for the upcoming match against the three-belt lightweight champion. However, Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing is yet to announce it officially. 

It will be quite difficult to create a solid buzz around this fight within one month. The fans want Teofimo Lopez to have a rematch against Vasily Lomachenko. However, Lopez chose to fight Kambosos instead. 

Kambosos Jr has been waiting desperately for this match to happen. Now, it seems like his wait will be over very soon assuming this match would actually take place on November 13. 

On the other hand, the fans believe that Toefimo Lopez shouldn’t let this fight get in his way and he should challenge Josh Taylor for his four belts. They believe that it will be a quality match between the two top guys that will be able to attract a lot of audiences in the US and the UK.
