WWE’s Twitter account has earlier tweeted that Seth Rollins will once again defend the WWE Universal Championship against the Fiend Bray Wyatt at Survivor Series 2019 PPV show. However, the tweet has been deleted since then.

The tweet was deleted after a few minutes itself. But as always happens, the Internet Wrestling Community was able to take screenshots of the tweet. It was speculated that the announcement was then saved for this week’s Monday Night RAW, dealing with the fallout from Hell in a Cell.

However, that plan might also have changed once again due to the earlier reported injury to Bray Wyatt. Bray Wyatt was reported to be injured during the Hell in a Cell match against Seth Rollins. Rollins and the Fiend faced off on Sunday inside Hell in a Cell where the match was controversially ended with the referee stoppage.

Survivor Series PPVs have recently holding RAW vs SmackDown matches from the last two years. The champions from both brands were pitted against each other with Brock Lesnar, WWE Universal Champion at the time, taking on AJ Styles in 2017 and Daniel Bryan in 2018. With Brock Lesnar being the WWE Champion, the champions match would have led to his fourth match against Seth Rollins in 2019.

Seth Rollins is currently booked for 10 men tag team match at WWE’s next PPV Crown Jewel 2019. He will be leading Team Hulk Hogan for the event. Currently, it is not clear whether he will also be defending the Universal title at Crown Jewel.
