Clash of Champions: Roode & Ziggler Becomes Tag Team Champions

Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler have become the new RAW Tag Team Champions by defeating Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman at WWE Clash of Champions 2019 show on 15 September 2019.

Storyline

Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler emerged as a new tag team and won the first 8 teams Tag Team Roulette match at RAW edition of 27 August 2019, and became the no #1 contenders. The incumbent champions Rollins and Strowman then had to defend the titles against them before their Universal title match.

Match Description

The match at Clash of Champions started with Strowman dominating the proceedings. Although a good tag team tactic from Roode and Ziggler allowed them to take control on Rollins. After a few minutes of beating, Rollins countered to tag in Strowman who ran riot.

However, as Rollins looked to finish things off, Strowman came in and pushed Roode into him inadvertently. After Ziggler took Strowman out with a low bridge, Roode hit the Glorious DDT to get a pin over the Universal champion and once again becoming the RAW tag team champ himself.
