The Young Bucks(Matt and Nick Jackson) and Lucha Bros(Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr.) are set for a rematch for next month in Mexico at an AAA Wrestling event.
The Youngs Bucks appeared at an event of AAA Wrestling back in February during the build-up of their match against Lucha Bros. They challenged the Luchadors for the impromptu match for the AAA Tag Team Championship after they had already defended it in a match earlier. Fenix and Pentagon Jr. accepted the challenge but AEW Executive Presidents defeated them with ease to win the titles.
Their match at Double or Nothing was changed and the title stipulation was added to it. The Young Bucks managed to win the match to retain the title. Now, their rematch is set for AAA Verano de Escándalo event on 16 June at Poliforum Zamná in Merida, Yucatán, Mexico and it is likely that the title will change hands at the event.
These two teams presented a great spectacle of tag team wrestling at Double or Nothing to the extent that Fenix and Pentagon got some minor injuries following their match. Their match with Lucha Empire promotion had to be canceled because of their conditions. The promotion announced on Twitter that Sunday’s event had to be canceled because the two were injured at Double Or Nothing, and were unable to travel from Vegas to Houston.
