WWE SmackDown episode of February 25, 2022, will be the fall-out episode from Elimination Chamber as well as start the build-up towards WrestleMania 38. The show will air from Giant Center in Hershey, PA.

Brock Lesnar has announced that he will at SmackDown this week and will take part in a contract signing segment with Roman Reigns. Sami Zayn will celebrate the Intercontinental title win and Drew McIntyre will face Madcapp Moss once again.

The show starts with a recap of Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns storyline. They confirm that WrestleMania 38 night 2 main event will be Brock vs Roman Winner Takes All match.

Ronda Rousey’s Interview

Ronda Rousey makes her entrance as Michael Cole waits for her in the ring for an interview. Cole asks her why she returned to WWE after three years. Ronda says she broke her hand in the main event of WrestleMania. Then, she broke her other hand and then got pregnant. As soon as she was pregnant, she calculated her due date to return to Royal Rumble.

Ronda then says her mother was the first World Championship winner in Judo, while she was a single mother, while doing her PHD and be an engineer. So, she wanted to set a similar badass example for her own daughter. Cole brings up that Ronda was one of the three women to main event WrestleMania the very first time. Ronda says she does not want to hang on the past accomplishments.

Cole then says while Ronda did not any issue dealing with Sonya Deville with one hand tied at Elimination Chamber, she was having difficulty against Charlotte Flair. We go to a replay from Elimination Chamber. Ronda’s face turns into anger on seeing the replay and she turns angrier on seeing Charlotte Flair come out.

Flair cuts a promo from the ramp saying that she will put Ronda in figure eight and will make Ronda tap out to retain the SmackDown Women’s title. Sonya Deville attacks Ronda from behind and smashes her knee against the ring post. Ronda then throws her over with a throw. Sonya slips to the floor and Ronda stands tall to end the segment.

Backstage, Adam Pearce asks Sonya where her blazer is. Adam then tells Sonya that upper management has made it official that she will face Ronda Rousey in a singles match next week due to her action tonight.

New Day vs Los Lotharios

New Day come out in a new ATV that Kofi has gifted Big E on his birthday. They lock up and Kofi sweeps Humberto’s leg and hits a standing splash. Big E tags in and drops Humberto with a clothesline. Big E puts on a chinlock. Humberto hits some punches before Big E hits him with a shoulder tackle. Kofi tags back in and hits a leg drop after jumping over Big E. Los Lotharios turns it around against Kofi with some double team to take us to the break.

Los Lotharios still in control as we return from the break. They hit a double team catapult on Kofi. Kofi starts to fight back with running knee strikes on Angel. Big E hits a trio of belly-to-belly suplex on Humberto as he tags in. Big E hits a splash next. Angel runs a distraction to stop Big Ending. Angel tags in. Big E drops him with Urinage. Kofi tags in to midnight hour. Humberto breaks the pin.

Angel sends Kofi to the floor and hits a suicide dive. Angel looks at the ATV to give Kofi a chance to launch from the steel steps with a double ax handle. Big E drops Humberto with belly-to-belly suplex on the floor. Angel turns it around in the ring. He goes to the top but Big E distracts him attempting to run over Humberto with ATV. Kofi brings down Angel and Big E tags in to hit Midnight Hour to get the pin.

Winner- New Day

Big E & Kofi are running around backstage in the ATV. Sheamus & Ridge Holland stop them for a some trash talk.

Sam Roberts is backstage with The Usos. Roberts asks the Usos about contract signing between Roman and Brock. The Usos hype that Roman will do the work on Brock just like they will do on the smelly Viking Raiders. The Viking Raiders attack them and demand their title shot.

Xia Li is at Gorilla position for an interview before her match. Xia says she has been waiting for this moment for her whole life, to compete on SmackDown, and will beat Natalya tonight.

Xia Li vs Natalya

Natalya pushes Li to the mat to start and stomps on her in the corner. Natalya whips her into the corner. Li leapfrogs to the top in the second whip and fights back. Li hits a bodyslam. Natalya hits a discus lariat. Natalya continues to be in control as she drops Li once more. Natalya puts on the octopus stretch.

Li fights back with an elbow to the knee. She hits big punches before catching Natalya’s kick and unloads on her knee with elbows. A jumping to Natalya’s face and kick to send her to the corner. Li hits an elbow to the top of her face. Li hits a suplex to get a two-count. Natalya goes for the sharpshooter but Li kicks her away. Li fires up to hit a spinning heel kick to get the pin.

Winner – Xia Li

Sami Zayn’s Celebration

Sami Zayn is in the ring and is hyped after winning back the Intercontinental title. Sami reminds everyone of the conspiracy against him for the past year and how his documentary was stopped from releasing. But, now he has realized that he came deal with anything they throw at him after winning the title back. Sami screams at the top of his lung and asks the crowd to show some respect.

Sami says he is ready to give a rematch to Nakamura, but he is busy in picking up pieces of his kneecap. Sami then says he is ready to give anyone a title shot if he is brave enough to challenge him. Johnny Knoxville makes his entrance. Sami asks him what is he doing here? Knoxville says Sami crashed his premiere and he is here to interrupt Sami’s celebration. Knoxville says Sami is ready to take on anyone challenging him, so, why not they do it.

Sami says Knoxville does not understand that he does not belong here. Knoxville replies by asking Sami if he is not a fighting champion or does not have balls. Sami gets angry, teases leaving, and then attacks Knoxville from behind. Sami runs him over with a Helluva kick. Two referees comes to make Sami leave, but he hits another Helluva kick before leaving.

Sami is backstage with Adam Pearce, arguing over what just happened. Pearce says Sami has given him a headache. Ricochet interrupts them and asks Sami for a title shot. Sami tells him to go to back of the line. Pearce intervenes and announces the match for the next week.


Sasha Banks vs Shotzi

Naomi joins the commentary. A bit of back and forth action to start. Sasha goes for three amigos but Shotzi stops her after the second suplex and drops her on the ropes. Shotzi gets a two-count and starts unloading on her. Shotzi hits a running boot. Sasha blocks a suplex and gets a two-count with a roll up. Sasha hits a Meteora. She drops Shotzi one more time. She hits a backstabber and then puts her into the bank statement to get the submission win.

Winner – Sasha Banks

Naomi gets into the ring as Sasha celebrates her win. Naomi announces that they are looking at the next WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Madcap Moss and Happy Corbin are backstage for an interview. Corbin mocks Moss’ Elimination Chamber loss and how he landed on her head. He says tonight, Drew McIntyre has to deal with him in a WrestleMania-caliber match. Drew McIntyre makes his entrance as we cut to a break.

Back from the break, Corbin is out with Moss. Corbin gets on the mic and asks if Drew really wants to waste a WrestleMania caliber match and be humiliated in Hershey. Corbin adds that nothing would make him happier than stomping him into pulp tonight. He then talks about how tough Madcap Moss is for standing here after what happened at Elimination Chamber. He asks Moss if he wants to face McIntyre tonight. Moss agrees and they attack McIntyre.

Drew McInytre vs Madcapp Moss

Moss with some quick attack to start the match. McIntyre easily gets him up for the Alabama Slam, but Madcap grabs the ropes and gets to the floor to send up to the break.

Moss sent Drew into the barricade during the break. Moss cuts off Drew’s charge to the corner with getting his boots up. Moss hits a big shoulder tackle. Drew cuts off his dropdown with kick to the midsection. They exchange blows in the middle of the ring. Moss whips him to the corner but McIntyre explodes with clotheslines. He hits two back to back German suplex before a neckbreaker.

Drew signals for the Claymore kick but Corbin runs a distraction. Moss rakes Drew’s eyes and sends him into the ring post. Moss hits a DDT to get a two-count. Moss screams at Drew in frustration for not getting the pin. Moss runs the ropes and gets caught with the Claymore kick to get the pin.

Winner – Drew McIntyre

Ronda Rousey is interviewed backstage and says she will show everyone what happens when an authority figure steps out of line.

Contract Signing

Roman Reigns is in the ring with the Bloodline and a bunch of a security and asks Hershey to acknowledge him. Heyman talks about the biggest WrestleMania match of all time and the enormity of it. He terms Brock vs Roman as bigger than Hogan vs Andre, Rock vs Steve Austin and bigger than Brock breaking Undertaker’s streak. He hypes the title unification match. Heyman says these security gaurds are here in the ring to protect Brock from his own impulsivenss and to stop Brock feeling the rage of The Tribal Chief. We cut to a break.

After the break, Pat McAfee announces that Vince McMahon will be at his show next Thursday. Brock Lesnar comes out to the ring. Brock puts his title on the table and smiels at Roman. Roman stares back at him. He takes the mic and introduces himself as the reigning, defending WWE Champion. Brock says he has stop himself from impulsiveness, but they are wrong in thinking that these security gaurds could stop them from kicking all of their a**.

Brock says he will sign the contract now which will allow him to kick all of their as*es. Brock signs the contract. Heyman says he is done with the disrespect and their match will not be a title unification match since Brock will lose the title at Madison Square Garden. Roman signs the contract before starting to scream that it is his tile, this is his show, this is his cameraman. Roman exits the ring and so does Heyman and The Usos. Roman says the commentators and this crowd is his, just like the security guards.

The guards attack Brock Lesnar but he deals with them easily. Brock hits F5s on a couple of security gaurds. He stands tall as his music hits to end the show.

Winner Takes All Contract: It is now confirmed that Roman Reigns will face off against Brock Lesnar in a Winner Takes All match at WrestleMania 38. Lesnar announced earlier this week on RAW that he will come to SmackDown. WWE has now revealed that Roman Reigns will also appear to sign the contract for the WrestleMania match and make it official.

In-Zayn Celebration: SamiZayn won the Intercontinental Championship back from Shinsuke Nakamura. This week, he will celebrate his title win on SmackDown. Will Johnny Knoxville try to ruin his celebration?

Rematch: Drew McIntyre defeated Madcapp Moss despite several interferences from Happy Corbin, who tried to take advantage of Falls Count Anywhere stipulation. Drew will once again face Moss, but in a singles match. Will Moss get a more brutal beating this around?

Ronda & Flair on Road to WrestleMania: Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair are on their way to possibly main event the night 1 of WrestleMania. How will their rivalry go ahead from here?
