Cameron Grimes will be the last man to join the NXT North American Championship Ladder match at NXT Stand and Deliver 2022 event.

Grimes defeated A-Kid and Roderick Strong in a triple threat match to qualify for the ladder match. Earlier, Grayson Waller, Solo Sikoa and Santos Escobar qualified to challenge the North American Champion Carmelo Hayes in the match.

After Grimes qualified for the match in the main event of this week’s NXT, Carmelo Hayes came out to confront him. This was followed by the other three participants also coming out and starting a brawl. The show went off the air with the brawl still continuing.

Another match is now added to the Stand and Deliver card on the pre-show. NXT Tag Team Champion Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne will defend the titles against Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai.

Kai teamed up with Wendy Choo in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classics 2022 tournament but failed to win it despite Dolin and Jayne helping them out several times. Choo was attacked backstage on this week’s NXT episode. Later, it was revealed that Toxic Attraction took her out. Dakota Kai then attacked Toxic Attraction in the ring.

As she was getting outnumbered, Raquel Gonzalez made her return to NXT and saved Kai. After Toxic Attraction ran away, Kai hugged Gonzalez and the former(and inaugural) Women’s Tag Team Champions reunited. The match between the two team was later announced for the pre-show.

NXT Stand and Deliver 2022 will start at a special time of 1 PM EST on April 2, 2022, with the pre-show starting from 12 PM EST.
