Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan are set for a rematch for WWE RAW Women’s Championship at WWE Day 1 2022 PPV.

Becky and Liv are feuding since the start of November and had the RAW Women’s title match at the main event of WWE RAW last week. Becky was able to retain the title after using the ropes to her advantage.

This week, Becky came out and gloated about her win last week. Becky also talked about how the crowd would have turned on Morgan had she won last week, just like the way they have turned on Becky since her return. Morgan also came out to answer Becky and ended up challenging her for a rematch.

This led to a brawl between the two women where Becky came on top and stomped on Morgan’s hand against the steel step a few times. In an update, WWE has revealed that Morgan has suffered a deep bone bruise and a strained radial collateral ligament in her left arm.

As she was leaving, “The Man” accepted the challenge for the title match. WWE confirmed that the match will take place at WWE Day 1 PPV.

Liv Morgan earlier won the #1 contender match ladder match which also involved Bianca Belair, Zelina Vega, Queen Zelina, and Rhea Ripley. Becky kept dodging Liv’s call for the title match for a few weeks until it was announced for the WWE RAW episode of December 6.

WWE Day 1 PPV will air on January 1, 2022, from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA. Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar will serve as the main event while a fatal 4-way WWE Championship match is also booked for the show.

Keep tuned in for more news and updates from WWE.
