Former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston Reportedly Not Cleared To Compete

Kingston has replaced Mustafa Ali

According to the latest reports, WWE Superstar Kofi Kingston is not cleared for in-ring action.

Kofi Kingston was initially scheduled to be a part of the Pure Life water segment along with Xavier Woods, The Miz, and John Morrison. However, he didn’t appear on it. But he was present when WWE built the Pure Life Water segment on the last Raw before SummerSlam.

PWInsider reported that several sources are informing that the former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston is not cleared to compete. Kofi Kingston’s last match took place in the dark main event of the August 17 episode of Raw. He along with Xavier Woods defeated The Miz and Morrison in tag-team action. 

The last televised match of Kingston was at Money in the Bank where he lost the WWE Championship bout against Bobby Lashley on July 18. 

Kofi wasn’t there with Wood when he answered Bobby Lashley’s open challenge at the WWE Supershow live event. Then on tonight’s episode of Raw too, Woods appeared all by himself where he defeated The Miz in singles action. 

As of now, there are no words on when Kofi Kingston will be back in the ring. So, stay tuned for more updates.
