Impact Hard To Kill 2022 will be Impact Wrestling’s very first PPV event of the year 2022. It will be the third event of Hard To Kill chronology that will take place on January 8, 2022. The PPV will air from The Bomb Factory, Dallas, Texas. 

IMPACT World Championship Triple Threat match between Moose, Matt Cardona and W. Morrisey is announced. Mickie James will defend against Deonna Purrazzo in a Texas Deathmatch. ROH title will be defended for the first time under IMPACT’s umbrella as Jonathan Greshan takes on Chris Sabin. The first-ever Knockouts Ultimate X match will main event the show.

October 23, 2021: IMPACT officially announced Hard to Kill 2022 for January 8, 2022.

November 20, 2021: Deonna Purrazo attacked Mickie James at Turning Point event and announced the Knockout Championship rematch between them for Hard to Kill.

December 2, 2021: Moose will defend IMPACT World title against Matt Cardona and W. Morrisey.

December 9, 2021: Josh Alexander vs JONAH singles match added to card.

December 9, 2021:  Participants name announce for first-ever Impact Knockouts Ultimate X Match. Chelsea Green, Rosemary, Jordynne Grace, Tasha Steelz, Rachel Ellering and Lady Frost will participate in the match.

December 16, 2021: The match between Mickie James and Deonna Purrazzo is turned into a Texas Death Match.

December 16, 2021: It is also revealed that James vs Purrazzo match will be the main event of the show.

December 21, 2021: The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson) & Violent By Design (Eric Young, Deaner & Joe Doering) vs Rhino, Eddie Edwards, Heath, Rich Swann & Willie Mack Ten-Man Hardcore War match added to card.

December 22, 2021: The IInspiration(Jessica McKay & Cassie Lee)(c) vs The Influence(Madison Rayne & Tenille Dashwood) Impact Knockouts Tag Team Championship match added to card.

December 23, 2021: Trey Miguel will defend the X-Division title against Steve Maclin at this event.

December 23, 2021: IMPACT revealed that ROH World Championship will be defended on IMPACT for the first time as the champion Jonathan Gresham will take on Chris Sabin.

December 31, 2021: IMPACT announced that the event is completely sold out at the Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas.

January 1, 2021: Rich Swann is tested positive for COVID-19.

January 1, 2021: Chris Sabin appreciated Jonathan Gresham and his wide range of wrestling styles, and he would like to make himself proud by winning the ROH World Championship.

January 6, 2021: A stipulation is added to the X-division title match. If Steve Maclin losses the match, he will not get another title shot until Trey Miguel is the champion.

January 6, 2021: Alisha Edwards replaced Rachael Ellering in the Knockouts Ultimate X match.

January 6, 2021: Karl Anderson defeated Heath for entry advantage in the Hardcore War match.

January 7, 2021: Jake Something vs Ace Austin vs Laredo Kid vs Chris Bey added to pre-show.

January 7, 2021: The Inspiration had to withdrew from the event duo to COVID exposure and Women’s tag team title match is removed from the card.

January 8, 2021: Speedball replaced Jake Something in the fatal 4-way match at pre-show.
