Britt Baker & AEW Reportedly Agreed On A Contract Extension

According to the latest reports, current AEW’s Women’s Champion Dr. Britt Baker and All Elite Wrestling have agreed on a contract extension. 

Fightful Select reported this news first citing some sources. However, the report did not include the state or length of the previous or the new deal. 

At this week’s AEW Dynamite, Bake said she had big news regarding a free agent signing with the company. During her backstage interview with Tony Schiavone, Baker revealed that she was a new signing. 

Britt Baker joined hands with AEW back in January 2019. Since then, she has been working as a core member of its women’s division. 

Britt Baker recently fought Red Velvet on the inaugural episode of AEW Rampage and successfully defended her title. Now, this Sunday, she will face Kris Statlander in a title bout at AEW All Out. 

The same PPV will also feature the Women’s Casino Battle Royal that will include several talented women of the promotion. The winner of this battle royal will challenge the winner of Britt Baker Vs. Kris Statlander for the AEW Women’s Championship.
