AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament Finals
The tournament and SCU’s journey in the tournament started at the same time at Fyter Fest. SCU battled with Best Friends and Private Party for the shot at a first-round bye in the tournament. They did come out on the winning side that day, but they are in the finals now. Their fight with Lucha Bros started just before the tournament started when the two teams came to blows at AEW Dynamite premiere episode. Lucha Bros were also responsible for injuring Christopher Daniels on the 16 October episode of Dynamite. Both teams have won their matches comprehensively till now and the final should be an intense battle once again. At the end of this, the prize is to be crowned as the inaugural AEW World Tag Team Champions. And getting the title belt from the legendary tag team of Rock N’ Roll Express.
Adam Page vs Sammy Guevara
Adam Page is devoid of singles win in AEW since winning his match against Kip Sabian at Fight for the Fallen. Since then, he has lost to Chris Jericho and PAC in singles matches. But here, he will be facing the man who does not have a singles win in AEW so far. In losing to Kip Sabian at Double or Nothing and then to Cody Rhodes at AEW Dynamite premiere, his only win came in tag team match at Fight for the Fallen. Both men are in need of a win. Especially since AEW’s booking model takes the win-loss in consideration.
Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks vs Kip Sabian & The Hybrid2 (Jack Evans & Angelico)
Kip Sabian was rarely seen in AEW after his loss to Adam Page at Fight for the Fallen. He was involved in an AEW Dark match but that was it. The Hybrid 2 also did not have a good start in AEW but have got some wins under their belt in AEW Dark Debut. They will be up against the Elites in Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks. All three of them are on the upward swing currently with significant wins under their belt. Sabian and Hybrid2 are doomed to lose here.
AEW Full Gear World Title Match Contract Signing
Chris Jericho will be defending the AEW World Championship against AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes. The match is set for a 60-minute time limit. But AEW has ensured that a decision should come even of the match exhausts the time limit. There will be a panel of 3 judges sitting at the ringside to decide the tiebreaker. Rhodes has announced that those terms are agreed upon verbally and will be signed on later tonight.
