Tony Schiavone welcomes us to another episode of AEW Dark. The show will start with singles action.
Joey Janela vs Brandon Cutler
The bell rings and Cutler pushes Janela into the corner. After the breakup, Janela slaps a wrist lock but Cutler rolls through and reverses. This continues for a bit. Janela hits a shoulder tackle after a handstand and Cutler replies with a flying forearm right in between the eyes of Janela. Cutler with a chin lock and the fans hypes Janela to break the lock. He gets out of the lockup and lands a chest chop. Cutler comes with a long-distance leg drop and a reverse DDT for two-counts.
Cutler whips to the turnbuckle and Janela lands face-first into the middle turnbuckle. Janela counters and nails a clothesline. Cutler is sent on the outside, and Janela nails him with a back elbow. Back in the ring, Janela hits a brainbuster and gets the pin and the win.

QT Marshall- Undesirable to Undeniable
QT Marshall is featured in Cody’s segment “Undesirable to Undeniable”. Cody talks about meeting Marshall at Ring of Honor, how he sent a video to WWE which they did not buy but Cody liked it so much. Marshall says that when he joined ROH, the people didn’t think he was a good wrestler. He also suffered a neck injury and those years were worst for his career. But after his documentary was made, he felt like he could conquer anything, whether it’s backstage or in the ring. His first match back will be tomorrow night in Pittsburgh and will air on next week’s AEW Dark.
Nyla Rose vs “The Librarian” Leva Bates (w/ Peter Avalon)
Peter Avalon leads with the shoosh(es) as he enters with Leva Bates. Leva is getting frustrated with the act. They reach the ring and Peter plays heel with the crowd. Leva gets more frustrated and shoosh Peter to make him quiet.
As the match starts, Avalon throws several books into the ring to provide a distraction. Bates runs at Rose multiple times with clotheslines. Rose picks her up and power slams her. Bates fights out of a chokeslam but eats a death valley driver. Rose goes for the cover but Avalon distracts the referee. Rose gets angry and sends Bates to the outside. She swings Bates headfirst into the steel stairs and rolls her back into the ring. She ends the match with a sit-down powerbomb.
Winner- Nyla Rose
Schiavone gives us a preview for the AEW Dynamite episode of 23 October 2019. He announces Britt Baker’s opponent for the show. It will be Jamie Hayter, coming all the way from England.
The Young Bucks, Cody & Dustin Rhodes (w/ Brandi Rhodes and MJF) vs Private Party & Strong Hearts (CIMA and T-Hawk)
Cody and CIMA start. Cody with a lockup and pushed CIMA into the corner. They continue to counter each others’ locks until all eight men come into the ring for a staredown. Dustin Rhodes and T-Hawk are legal men now. Dustin works with The Young Bucks until T-Hawk hits a basement dropkick on Nick. He hits some chops on Matt. Private Party work on Matt.
Kassidy lands on top of Matt’s arm from the top rope. Matt with a double running clothesline on both Issah and Quen and follows with 4 northern light suplexes on Private Party. Nick takes everyone out. Nick with a facebuster on Quen and then a moonsault Issah. Quen hits a shooting star press on Nick but Matt breaks the pin. Dustin with a clothesline on Hawk and then a shovel hook and follows it with three scoops. Kassidy steps into the ring and gets power slammed.
Dustin hits a diving body press on Private Party. Private Party dives on Dustin and Cody on the outside. The Bucks hits a double dropkick on Private Party. Brandi hits a flipping senton. MJF gets in the ring and plays with the crowd. Young Bucks start their Superkick Party. Kassidy hits a double hurricanrana on The Bucks. Dustin and Cody work together on CIMA and T-Hawk. Private Party eats the superkicks from Rhodes and Jacksons at the same time and then they all hit unnatural kicks. Dustin makes the cover on T-Hawk for the win.
