UFF 266 will no longer feature the key flyweight bout between Manon Fiorot vs Mayra Beuno. However, the fans won’t have to wait for very long to see this match as it is already rescheduled to take place on October 16.
On Wednesday, UFC officially announced that the upcoming Saturday’s UFC 266 event will be one fight smaller. Fiarot vs Beuno has been removed from UFC 266 card as the team of Fiarot has contacted Covid-19.
The good thing is that Manon Fiorot is asymptomatic and will stay in Las Vegas for this bout that will not take place on October 16.
Manon Fiorot is having a dream run and is on a seven-fight winning streak. Also, she is undefeated in UFC and has won all two of her fights. She has defeated Tabatha Ricci and Victoria Leonardo in her UFC appearances.
On the other hand, Beuno Silva also has a pretty impressive UFC run so far. She has first-round submission victories against opponents like Mara Romello Borella and Gillian Robertson.
Silva recently fought Montana De La Rosa in February that ended up in a draw. Beuno Silva lost a point in the very same match for grabbing the match.
