Kevin Holland managed to defeat Alex Oliveira via TKO in the second round of their Welterweight bout at UFC 272.
The match was quite right from the very beginning as Holland tried to start things off with a high kick. Both the fighters then traded some lower kicks.
Initially, it seems like Kevin Holland was the slower fighter, as Oliveira managed to catch two of his kicks, and the latter delivered a right jab as well.
Holland also tried for the leg lock, but Oliveira avoided it with a kick. By the end of the first round, there was a lot of back and forth action, and the crowd was loving it.
The second round started in a similar manner as both the fighters started to exchange punches. Oliveira went a little backward, and Holland took advantage of it and rained down punches and elbows until the referee stopped the match.
With this match, Kevin Holland finally broke his losing streak. On the other hand, Alex Oliveira is now on a four-fight losing streak.
