It seems like WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury and his mandatory title challenger Dillian Whyte are having a hard time negotiating. But, things might finally reach a conclusion now as WBC has extended the free negotiation period between Dillian Whyte & Tyson Fury.

WBC decided to give these heavyweights yet another week, and officially re-schedule the purse bid of Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte for January 18.

Dillian Whyte has been looking for a shot at the WBC heavyweight championship for quite a while. However, Whyte is not happy with the split.

It was reported that Tyson Fury would receive 80% of the purse. However, if the agreement hasn’t been made between Fury and Whyte by January 18, then a purse bid will take place on Tuesday at WBC Headquarters in Mexico City.

Dillian Whyte’s last match came against Alexander Povetkin where he avenged his knockout loss by registering one of his own. On the other hand, Tyson Fury last defeated Deontay Wilder in their trilogy bout.
