Lucha Bros Partner; CIMA-Daniels Match Announced for Fyter Fest

The Laredo Kid has been confirmed as the mystery partner for Lucha Bros(Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr.) in the six-man match against The Elite at AEW Fyter Fest 2019.

This week’s edition of the show ended with footage of Pentagon Jr and Fenix regaining their AAA Tag Team titles, then announcing Laredo Kid as their partner in a backstage promo. Laredo Kid commented on the announcement via Twitter, writing it was an invitation he couldn’t decline. Earlier, PAC was supposed to be the partner for Lucha Bros but he was pulled out after creative differences with AEW.

Another match is announced for Fyter Fest between CIMA from OWE’s Strong Hearts and Christopher Daniels from SoCal Uncensored. Strong Hearts and SoCal Uncensored battled at Double or Nothing with SoCal Uncensored winning that bout. A couple of weeks back at Being the Elite, CIMA told Daniels over the phone call that he wants a singles match between them. Daniels made the official announcement of the match this week at Being the Elite.

Fyter Fest, a joint show from AEW and CEO Gaming, will take place on Saturday, June 29 from Daytona Beach, Florida and will air for free on B/R Live in the US and on Fite TV in other countries. For more information, news and updates for Fyter Fest 2019, you can follow this space.
