New Matches Announced for NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver 2021

NXT Takeover Stand & Deliver 2021

The match card for NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver 2021 just got better with 2 more blockbuster matches added.

NXT announced last week about a Battle Royal to determine 6 participants and entry order for a Gauntlet Eliminator match on night 1 of Takeover on 7 April 2021. 11 men featured in that Battle Royal which was the main event for the night.

Jake Atlas, Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, Leon Ruff, Austin Theory, Dexter Lumis, Tyler Rust, Kushida, Cameron Grimes, Pete Dunne, Bronson Reed, and LA Knight- all took part in that Battle Royal. LA Knight won the match by last eliminating Dexter Lumis. The entrant for Gauntlet Eliminator match will be as follows:

  1. Leon Ruff
  2. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott
  3. Bronson Reed
  4. Cameron Grimes
  5. Dexter Lumis
  6. LA Knight

During the Battle Royal, Pete Dunne and Kushida brawled within themselves to take their rivalry forward from the last few weeks. Both men were first to be eliminated from the match. Later, the commentary team announced that Dunne & Kushida will face-off in a singles match at night 1 of NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver 2021.

NXT Tag Team title match is also confirmed for night 2 of the show. The champions Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart will face The Way’s Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell. The rivalry between these two teams is going on for the last few months. Moon and Blackheart defeated the Way in the semifinals of the women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classics tournament.
