UFC has officially announced its return to the United Kingdom, after months of speculation. On Wednesday, the promotion announced that the promotion will conduct an event in London on March 19.
The event will take place at the O2, and the tickets will go on sale on February 4. The last two UFC events in London got canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Back in March 2020, Leon Edwards vs Tyron Woodley was supposed to headline an event in London, but it was canceled. After that UFC was scheduled to make its return to the UK in September, but that plan was nixed as well.
UFC Fight Night 147 was the last event that took place in London and that too in March 2019. This year, UFC will mark its return to the UK after a long wait of three years with an upcoming Fight Night event.
Jake Hadley vs Allan Nascimento, Luana Carolina vs Molly McCann, Makwan Amirkhani vs Mike Grundy, Jack Shore vs Timur Valiev, and Shamil Abdurakhimov vs Tom Aspinall are some of the matches that are scheduled to take place on March 19. However, the card is subject to change.
