A high-profile crossover boxing bout between Youtuber turned boxer Jake Paul and former UFC fighter Tyron Woodley will go down in August. While this will be the fourth professional bout for Jake Paul, but this will be the boxing debut for Woodley. The fight was set up with a backstage confrontation between them at a prior event, both men have raised the stake with a bet for the loser to get a ridiculous tattoo.

How was Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley Setup?
Tyron Woodley mocked Jake Paul before Paul’s match against his MMA teammate Ben Eskren at Triller Fight Club II. Former UFC Welterweight Champion also challenged Paul for a MMA match. Later, Woodley and Jake Paul’s team had a confrontration backstage at Paul vs Askren PPV event. Paul defeated Askren in the first round knockout, who has been Woodley’s MMA teammate.
Later, Woodley called out The Problem Child for a boxing bout. Paul agreed to face the former MMA figher. The match was announced for 28 August. ESPN announced that the bout will be contested at 190 pounds catchweight inside of a 20-foot ring.
Both men have traded words over social media as well as during their face-offs. Woodley got the support from boxing legend Floyd Mayweather who is helping him to train. During their face-off press conference on 14 July, both Paul and Woodley agreed to a tattoo bet- the loser will get a permanent tattoo of I Love Jake Paul/Tyron Woodley and have to post it on Instagram.
