Welcome to ITN’s Live blog for WWE Monday Night RAW episode of 22 March 2021(3/22/2021) as we bring you the Live Results, Updates, winners, highlights and videos from the show.

The show will deal with the fall-out from Fastlane 2021 PPV while also building towards WrestleMania 37. You can check the preview for the show here. WWE is advertisting Rhea Ripley’s RAW debut also.

Bobby Lashley vs Sheamus

WWE Champion Bobby Lashley comes out with MVP. Sheamus enters next. We see the replay of his match with Drew McIntyre last night. The bell rings and they lock up. Lashley grabs him in the neck. Sheamus forces him to the corner to force a stalemate. They are jockeying for the position now. Lashley strikes in the corner but his charge was met by a big boot. Sheamus comes with some big blows. Lashley hits a snap suplex.

Sheamus comes out of a headlock with elbows. Lashley hits a neckbreaker. MVP asks Sheamus how does the Almighty Era feel like? Sheamus is sent to the apron and gets hung up. Sheamus tries to go for the signature blows to the chest but Lashley manages to avoid it with his power. Sheamus is dropped to the floor. Cedric Alexander distracts the referee and Shelton Benjamin runs Sheamus over with a clothesline.

Sheamus is in a shoulder stretch. He hits some elbows and a kick after coming from the ropes. Lashley catches him for a powerslam. Lashley tells Alexander to go away and not interfere right now. Sheamus tries to roll up but could only get a two-count. Sheamus with more strikes and hits the signature chest blows. He takes out Lashley with a clothesline from the top on the floor. Back to the ring, Sheamus with another clothesline from the top but only gets a two-count.

Lashley comes back with big blows. Lashley eats a big knee to the jaw. Lashley avoids the Brogue kick. Alexander distracts Sheamus and Lashley hits him with a big chokeslam spinebuster. Lashley puts on the Hurt Lock quickly and Sheamus submits.

Winner- Bobby Lashley

After the match, Benjamin & Alexander start to beat up Sheamus on the floor. Drew McIntyre comes out and takes them both out. Lashley & MVP are still in the ring. McIntyre dares Shelton to come at him but Shelton decides against it. McIntyre gets into the ring now. Lashley takes the title in air. McIntyre tries to intimidate him into a brawl. But MVP keeps Lashley from not engaging. Lashley leaves the ring with MVP and shows off the title at the ramp.

After the break, we see Shelton & Cedric approach Lashley and MVP. Lashley asks them why they interfere. MVP tells them that they tarnished Lashley’s image by make it look like he can’t win on his own. MVP tells them to do something about their RAW Tag Team title loss.

We see the replay of Orton-Fiend-Bliss feud.

Asuka vs Peyton Royce

Peyton Royce takes down Asuka in a headlock. Asuka comes out and dances in the ring. Asuka with a tackle. They run the ropes and end up getting tangled. Peyton tries to grab her leg but Asuka kicks her away. More counters and Peyton puts on the leg lock. Asuka slams her face to break the move. Peyton trips her face-first into the turnbuckle. Peyton with big blows to the back and grounds her. Asuka sends her face-first intothe corner. More back and forth. Peyton avoids the hip attack on the apron and brings down Asuka to the floor.

Both women are down as we return from the break. We see how Asuka countered during the break. Asuka hits a hip attack in the corner. Asuka puts on the arm bar now. Peyton shifts her weight but Asuka manages to turn it into the Asuka lock to get the submission.

Winner – Asuka

After the match, Rhea Ripley comes out to a big pop. Ripley enters the ring and takes the mic. She puts over Asuka as a great champion. Ripley says Flair challenged her but now she is recovering from COVID-19. Ripley comes straight to the point and challenges Asuka for the title match at WrestleMania. Asuka takes the mic and says Ripley is not ready for Asuka. Asuka accepts the challenge and the match is on.

Adam Pearce stops Drew McIntyre in the back. Pearce tells him that Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin have challenged him to a Handicap Match. Drew says he is interested but if he wins tonight, then Cedric and Benjamin are banned from ringside at WrestleMania 37 match against Lashley. Pearce says it is on.

MizTV

The Miz and John Morrison come out for the MizTV segment which will have WrestleMania implications. Miz and Morrison talk about how they are being disrespected by everyone and especially Bad Bunny. Miz says how he is a two-times Grand Slam champion. Morrison then says not even John Cena, Undertaker and other big stars have been two-times Grand Slam Champions. They says they more title reigns than they can count on their hands and toes.

We get the replay from last week where Miz smacked a guitar on Bad Bunny’s back. Miz says this is a warning for all the rappers, musicians, actors and other celebrities. Miz then announces the release of a new single, “Hey Hey Hop Hop” which will be released next week on the Dirt Sheet. Miz then challenges Bad Bunny to a match at WrestleMania and says he will end Bunny’s career. And we will get the preview tonight as Miz faces Jeff Hardy.

Jeff Hardy vs The Miz

Hardy enters for the match. He says we all know Morrison will interfere in the match, so he should go to the back. Miz asks Morrison to go solo. Hardy starts with big strikes. Miz ends up smacking him in the jaw. Miz beats him around for a while before putting on a headlock.

Hardy comes back with elbows to the midsection. Hardy with a neckbreaker, double ax, reverse atomic drop, drops on the midsection and gets a two-count. Miz runs into a big boot in the corner. Hardy hits a splash to get another two-count. Miz avoids the Twist of Fate and sends Hardy into the ring post. Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale to get the pin.

Winner – The Miz

After the match, Miz was celebrating in the ring. Bad Bunny comes from behind and smacks a Guitar on his back. Bunny leaves the ring and goes to the ramp. He takes the mic and accepts the challenge for the match at WrestleMania 37.

AJ Styles vs Kofi Kingston

Kofi takes down AJ to the mat with a headlock to start. AJ tries to turn it into pin attempt but Kofi keeps the lock on. AJ gets back to his feet but Kofi hits a kick to get a two-count. AJ swings and misses in the corner. AJ puts on the headlock now. AJ with a tackle before Kofi hits the rear view after running the ropes.

Kofi with more punches. AJ gets his strikes going and throws Kofi out. Kofi catches AJ at the apron. Kofi hits the monkey leap next to get another two-count. Kofi with chops in the corner before his dropkick sends AJ out to the floor. Kofi goes to the floor and AJ punches to his throat and sends him into the steel steps. Woods wants to check on Kofi but Omus stops him from doing so.

AJ is in control as we return and gets some big strikes going. Kofi comes back with quick moves. AJ catches him mid-air with an enziguiri. Kofi hits the overhead kick in the corner. He goes to the top and AJ trips him. AJ goes for the superplex but Kofi fights back with punches before dropping him. Kofi hits the splash on AJ’s back to get another two-count. Kofi tries to go for SOS but AJ puts on the Calf Crusher. Kofi reaches the bottom rope to break the hold.

Kofi turns a move into a pin attempt. AJ hits a dropkick to Kofi’s knee to soften it up. AJ was going for the phenomenal forearm but Woods blows his horn to break his concentration. Omus goes to deal with Woods. Kofi counters the Phenomenal Forearm and gets the pin by grabbing on the tights.

Winner – Kofi Kingston

After the match, New Day celebrates at the ramp as Omus and AJ regroup in the ring.

Backstage, Kevin Patrick catches up with Sheamus. They talk about Drew McIntyre & Lashley until Riddle runs in with his scooter. Riddle asks Sheamus some random questions. Sheamus asks him what he is doing. Sheamus grabs the scooter and fakes some questions before smacking it in Riddle’s midsection. Riddle is on the floor and asks if it was something he said. Sheamus leaves.
