WWE TLC 2016 PPV(Tables, Ladders & Chairs) was the eighth pay-per-view event under the TLC series. This was a Smackdown only PPV coming in the era of WWE’s second brand split. The event was headlined by a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match between AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose for the WWE Championship where Styles successfully defended.
Seven matches were contested at the event. Alexa Bliss defeated Becky Lynch in the Tables match for SmackDown Women’s Championship. A Ladder match took place for the WWE Intercontinental Championship where The Miz defeated Dolph Ziggler.
The show took place for the first time at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. This was also the fourth TLC event to take place in the state of Texas.
