The Young Bucks have accepted the challenge from The Lucha Bros for a Ladder match at AEW All Out 2019 with AAA Tag Team Championship on the line.
The feud between the Lucha Bros and The Young Bucks is as old as the AEW itself. During their opening rally back in January this year, Lucha Bros(Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr.) challenged the Young Bucks(Matt and Nick Jackson) for a match at AEW’s first PPV show Double or Nothing. Over the course of next month, the Young Bucks managed to win the AAA Tag Team titles from Luchadors.
Jackson Brothers successfully defended the titles at Double or Nothing before losing it in June at AAA show in Mexico. Meanwhile, Lucha Bros teamed up with Loredo Kid to take on Kenny Omega and Young Bucks at AEW Fyter Fest in another losing effort. After their first win in AEW at Fight for the Fallen show, the Luchas decided to extend their rivalry when they challenged the Young Bucks for a Ladder of the Death match at All Out.
At the end of this week’s Being the Elite episode, Matt and Nick Jackson accepted the challenge for the ladder match, billed as “Escalera de la Muerte.” AAA tag team titles will again be on the line for this bout.
