WWE to Reportedly Have More Stadium Events in Upcoming Time

According to the latest reports, WWE is planning to have more stadium events in the upcoming time.

Mat Men’s Andrew Zarian noted that the promotion is planning to make stadium events the new norm. This idea reportedly came from Nick Khan who is WWE’s President & Chief Revenue Officer.

According to this report, WWE does not want every single stadium to be a sell-out and have 50K+ attendance. The promotion will make a good profit even if the event is attended by 20-35K people.

WWE is set to have a total of eight stadium events this year and four of them have already taken place. It started with Royal Rumble 2022 which took place at The Dome in St. Louis, whereas the second event was Elimination Chamber 2022 which took place at Jeddah SuperDome in Saudi Arabia.

Night 1 & 2 of WWE WrestleMania 38 took place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Now, the next event will be Money in the Bank 2022 which will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Next in line is SummerSlam 2022 which will take place at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

WWE has also announced a premium event for September 3 which will take place at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, UK. WWE will return to Saudi Arabia later this year to hold TLC which will be the last stadium event of this year.
