WWE Survivor Series: Miz vs Gunther IC Title Match Announced
Gunther will defend his Intercontinental Championship against The Miz at WWE Survivor Series 2023 PLE.
The Miz got the title opportunity at November 6 episode of RAW, where he defeated Ivar, Bronson Reed, and Ricochet in a fatal 4-way match.
At the conclusion of the match, Miz managed to secure a pin on Reed, while Ivar simultaneously pinned Ricochet. However, Ricochet managed to kick out of the pin, leading to Miz’s victory in the match. Following the match, Ivar brutally attacked Miz, setting up a match for next week’s episode of RAW.

The upcoming Intercontinental Championship Match at Survivor Series marks the first time in seven years that this title has been contested at this event. The last time championship was defended at Survivor Series in 2016, when Miz successfully retained the title against Sami Zayn.
Gunther’s most recent title defense took place on the October 16 episode of RAW, where he emerged victorious against Bronson Reed. Miz’s last singles match occurred on the October 2 episode of RAW, where he suffered a defeat at the hands of Drew McIntyre.
Survivor Series 2023 is set to take place on November 25, 2023, at Allstate Arena in Chicago. WWE Women’s World Championship match is also scheduled for the event, where Rhea Ripley will face Zoey Stark.
