WWE SummerSlam 2022 edition has arrived and we will be right here with all the results from the show.

Headlining the show are Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. They will clash in a Last Man Standing match which is being advertised by WWE as the last match between the duo.

However, there is also a looming threat of Money in the Bank Briefcase holder Theory, who is promising that he will end the night as the Universal Champion. Roman Reigns, The Usos, Brock Lesnar and even Drew McIntyre have been on hand to neutralize Theory. Will they prevent him from cashing in the briefcase? Theory will anyway challenge for United States Title against Bobby Lashley far before the main event.

In other matches, Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch will have another SummerSlam moment with the RAW Women’s title on the line. Liv Morgan will try to prove that her World title win is not a fluke as she defends SmackDown Women’s title against Ronda Rousey. The Usos vs The Street Profits match for unified WWE Tag Team Championship will have a special guest referee in Jeff Jarrett.

Two singles matches include Pat McAfee taking on Happy Corbin, and Logan Paul facing The Miz. The Mysterios will face The Judgment Day in a No Disqualification Tag Team match. Lastly, Seth Rollins will once again have a mystery opponent for the night.

The pre-show is currently ongoing with Kayla Braxton as the host and Booker T, Jerry Lawler, Peter Rosenberg and Kevin Patrick as the analysts. They go through the matches one by one.


Theory is interviewed backstage by Sarah Schrieber. Theory says he feels like he is on top of the world and we might be in the Theory Era after tonight. He once again talks about cashing in MITB contract to become the youngest WWE Universal Champion.


Titus O’Neal is out there in the stadium to promote some of the community work WWE has been doing. He introduces three different Non-Profit Organizations and WWE has presented them with custom WWE titles as well as some contributions from their sponsors.


The mystery vignette airs again. It closes with, “I am coming Tonite.”


The main show starts with a generic video package. Becky Lynch is the first one to come out tonight. Bianca Belair, the hometown girl, follows her soon.

Bianca Belair(c) vs Becky Lynch – WWE RAW Women’s Championship Match

They lock up and and Becky pulls out of it. Bianca avoids a headlock. She brings down Becky with a waistlock takedown. Becky rolls through with a sunset flup. Bianca drops her with a big shoulder tackle. Becky picks her leg in the air to take her down. Becky starts to work on Bianca’s arm now using different manuevers. Bianca comes back with a handspring move and drops Becky with the Glam slam. Becky rolls to the floor.

Bianca goes to drop her on the barricade with KOD but Becky lands on her feet and pulled her into the barricade. Becky hits a leg drop on the barricade and has to take Bianca back to the ring to break the referee’s count. Bianca blocks a bexploder to start some back-and-forth action. Becky pulls her to the mat in the corner to get another two-count.

Bianca hits some forearms. Becky goes to pick her arm again. Bianca goes to the apron to avoid Becky. Becky hits her with a dropkick there. Becky goes for a leg drop on the ropes but Bianca counters it with a powerbomb. Becky jumps on Bianca on the floor but Bianca catches her and hits her with a Glam Slam on the apron. Becky tries to use her braids to put her into the ringpost but Bianca instead pulls her into the post. Bianca hits a suplex on the floor.

Back to the ring, more back and forth action continues. Becky hits a diamond cutter to get a two-count. Bianca blocks a hurricanrana and throws Becky over. Becky counters by going for the disarmer. Bianca rolls to the ropes and then to the floor. Becky continues to hold onto the arm and Bianca hits her with KOD on the floor. Both women are down on the floor and barely beat the count. Bianca goes to the top but Becky pulls her down by her braids and hits Manhandle slam. Bianca kicks out of a near fall.

Bianca counters a disarmer with a roll-up. She hits a Spanish Fly from the second rope. Bianca quickly follows up with KOD to get the pin.

Winner – Bianca Belair

After the match, Bianca celebrates as she gets her title. Becky is distraught with another big loss. She comes to shake hands with Bianca. Bianca is a bit shocked as she hugs Becky. Becky leaves the ring and Bianca continues to celebrate. Bayley’s music hits and she walks down the ramp. Bianca is welcoming her back. Bayley screams if she remembers her.

Dakota Kai’s music hits and she also comes out to stand with Bayley. This is not it. Io Shirai’s music hits next and she joins Bayley and Dakota. Bianca is standing confused in the ring as all three women approach the ring. They stand opposite Bianca. Becky comes back in and stand beside Bianca and stares down Bayley. Bianca and Becky invite them for a fight but the trio leave without doing anything.

Logan Paul vs The Miz

Miz comes out with Maryse and Ciampa. Paul follows him out next. Miz mocks him for a lockup as they circle the ring. Miz pushes Paul to the ropes, leading to a break. Miz brings down but decides to mock Logan instead of hitting him with a kick. Paul takes him down and he also mocks Miz instead of taking a big shot at him. Logan then shows off his boxing skills with combination of punches. More quick moves follow from Logan and he sends Miz to the floor to hit him with a moonsault.

Back to the ring, Miz nails Paul with chops in the corner. Logan replis with a series of chops of his own. Miz counters in the corner by tripping Logan on the second rope with a kick and hits him with double knees. Ciampa takes a cheap shot at Logan as the Miz distracts the referee. Miz puts on a chinlock breifly before unloading with punches in the corner. He misses a knee strike in the corner. Logan blocks punches and fires his own. Logan hits a blockbuster from the second rope.

They get up and Logan hits a clothesline and a back elbow. He hits a running powerslam next to get a two-count. Logan then hits Miz with It kicks. Miz tries to fire back but Logan hits him with a chop block. Logan puts on the figure four now. Miz is screaming in pain but he manages to get to the ropes to break it. Logan is sent to the apron. He nails Mzi with forearm and hits a crossbody from the top and a standing moonsault to get a two-count.

Ciampa tries to attack Logan again, but this time, he gets caught by the referee. The referee boots him to backstage. Ciampa refuses to go back and instead sits on a chair at the ringside. AJ Styles’ music hits. AJ comes out from the crowd and starts to beat up Ciampa. AJ takes Ciampa into the crowd. Logan hits Miz with a phenomenal forearm to get a two-count.

Logan clears the announce table now and sets up Miz on top of it. Logan goes to the top rope and hits a frog splash on Miz on the announce table. Both men are down on the floor. They manage to beat the count and get back to the ring. Maryse distracts Logan. Miz gets knuckles and he goes for a knuckle shot. Logan ducks it and hits Miz with Skull Crushing Finale to get the pin.

Winner – Logan Paul

We get a video package for Brock Lesnar with some comments from UFC President Dana White.


Mansoor and Mace are in a photoshoot. They are thristy after some intense photo session. This turn out to be an ad for Pure Life Water. Max Dupri and Maxxine Dupri also join the advert.


We are getting a video for Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Bobby Lashley(c) vs Theory – WWE United States Championship

Theory comes out for the match. Lashley comes out after him. Theory smacks Lashley with the MITB breifcase as Lashley was posing in the corner. The referee separates them and checks on Lashley before calling for the bell. Theory gets the upperhand in the initial moments as he takes down Lashley and unload with punches. Lashley goes for a suplex, but Theory blocks it. Lashley drops him with a back elbow and then hits a one-handed spinebuster for a two-count.

Theory rolls to the floor to avoid more attack. He picks up his briefcase and tries to leave. Lashley blocks his way and tells him to get back into the ring. Lashley sends Theory into the barricade a few times. Theory hits back with a dropkick as they return to the ring. Lashley drops him face first into the mat. Lashley gets a lot of cheers as he gets back to his feet.

They trade punches in the middle of the ring now. Lashley ends up hitting a running powerslam. He misses the spear and ends up crashing into the ringpost. Theory tries to capitalize but Lashley picks him up in a bench press. Theory slips but Lashley puts him in the Hurt Lock to get an immediate submission.

The Mysterios(Rey Mysterio & Dominik) vs Judgment Day(Finn Balor & Damian Priest) – No Disqualification Tag Team Match

We get a video package of how Judgment Day ruined Rey Mysterio’s 20th Anniversary Celebration in WWE as Rhea Ripley, Finn Balor and Damian Priest enter for the match. The Mysterios enter and immediately goes for the attack. Judgment Day takes both opponents to the corner and take control. They pose in the middle of the ring and The Mysterios take advantage by firing back. Balor and Priest are sent to the floor and hit with dives. Dominik hits a crossbody on Balor as the match settles. Rey tags in for some double team.

Dominik gets trapped by Judgment Day duo with some distraction and double team. Balor and Priest are now keeping Dominik in their corner. Priest puts on a chinlock. Dominik gets back to his feet but Priest drops him again. Balor holds Dominik in the corner as Priest hits him with a back elbow. Balor comes in and mocks Eddie Guerrero. Balor then hits three amigo suplexes. Balor continues to beat up Dominik in the ring. Dominik hits a neckbreaker.

Rey and Priest tag in and Rey hits quick moves. A seated senton and a dropkick on Priest before Rey drops Balor off the apron. Rey hits a bulldog. Balor brings in a steel chair but Rey snatches it and slams Priest with it. Rey hits a basement slide with chair on Balor on the floor. Priest nails him with a superkick to get a two-count. Rey drops him on the ropes for 619. Balor gets a blind tag and cuts off Rey with a flying clothesline. Balor hits a shotgun dropkick. He goes to the top where Dominik pulls his leg. Rey comes up and hits a hurricanrana from the top to get a two-count.

Priest comes in and Dominik teams up with Rey to drop him on the ropes. Balor is also dropped to the ropes. The Mysterios gets pulled down by Rhea when they go for double 619. Priest hits a chokeslam on Rey. Balor asks for a steel chair. Edge’s music hits and he returns in his old short hair look. He marches down the ramp. Priest meets him on the ramp and Edge brings him down. Edge gets into the ring and hits Balor with a spear. He hits another spear on Balor before dropping him to the ropes. Rey and Dominik hit Balor with double 619. Rey hits a diving headbutt to get the pin.

Winner – The Mysterios

Edge stares down The Judgment Day as they regroup on the floor.

Pat McAfee vs Happy Corbin

We get a video package for this match. Happy Corbin makes his entrance. His music is cut off when he is just halfway on the ramp. A chorus starts singing “Bum A**, Corbin.” Corbin’s mood is off. The same chorus is now singing for Pat McAfee’s entrance as McAfee makes his entrance in shorts and vest.

Corbin is running his mout as the bell rings. He pushes McAfee and McAfee replies with a superkick. Corbin sends him to the corner. McAfee hits a hurricanrana and clotheslines Corbin to the floor. Pat comes out and sends Corbin in to the ringpost. McAfee takes Corbin to the top. Corbin tries to fire back but Pat lands on his feet. Pat poses in the middle of the ring and Corbin capitalizes with a big tackle to take over control. Corbin unloads on him in the corner before tossing him across the ring.

Corbin nails some big punches and sends Pat to the floor to drive him into the barricade. Back to the ring, Corbin gets a two-count. Corbin hits Deep Six to get a two-count. Corbin argues with the referee over the count. Corbin goes for his signature slip out of the ring and come back with clothesline. Pat cuts him off with a dropkick near the ropes. Pat goes to the floor and Corbin sends him into the announce table. Corbin takes the commentary headsets and talks trash about Pat’s family. He also mocks Michael Cole. Corbin sends Pat back to the ring. Pat joins him on the top rope and hits him with a superplex.

Both men are down now. They get start trading punches as they get back to their feet. Pat tries to fire quick punches but Corbin puts him into the corner. Corbin misses a corner tackle and lands on the floor. Pat goes to the top, stumbles a bit and hits a swanton bomb. Pat brings Corbin back to the ring and goes to the top again. Corbin gets up. Pat counters End of Days and ends up knocking out the referee. Pat takes advantage with a low blow. The referee recovers and Pat hits Code Red to get the pin.

Winner – Pat McAfee

Drew McIntyre comes out to the stage and starts a promo, praising the city of Nashville. He then moves to talk about his match against Sheamus. He then talks about the main event and says he does not care who wins, he is going to beat him at Clash at the Castle. Drew asks for the countdown from the crowd as he raises his sword to get the pyro going.

The Usos(Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso)(c) vs The Street Profits(Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) – unified WWE Tag Team Championship(w/ special guest referee Jeff Jarrett)

Jeff Jarrett comes out in his hometown. The Street Profits are accompanied by Titans cheerleaders in their entrance. The Usos make their entrance. Jimmy and Dawkins start. Jimmy unloads to take Dawkins to the corner. Jarrett calls for a break and forces his will when Jimmy does not listen to him. Dawkins nails Jimmy with a big punch and goes to unload with more. Jarrett stops Dawkins also. The Usos double team to take Dawkins under control with quick tags.

Jarrett sends Jey out when he overstays his welcome. Jey takes a cheap shot at Dawkins when Jimmy distracts Jarrett. Jimmy puts on a chinlock on the mat. Dawkins tries to get to his feet but Jimmy puts him back to the mat. Jimmy sends Dawkins to the corner and then hits a hip attack in the corner. The Usos pose and wastes a lot of time. Jimmy goes for another hip attack but Dawkins moves out of the way. Dawkins nails Jimmy with a step-up enzuigiri.

Tags to Ford and Jey. Ford hits a gamengiri and a crossbody for a two-count. Ford hits a clothesline, kicks to midsection and to face. A side suplex and a moonsault gets Ford a two-count. Ford hits a big chop. Jey hits a superkick and an uppercut. Ford hits a blockbuster to get another two-count. Jey hits a neckbreaker. Jimmy comes in and Ford low bridges to send both the Usos to the floor. Dawkins tags in and hits a suicide dive. Dawkins brings Jimmy back and hits him with a swinging neckbreaker to get a close two-count.

Ford gets a tag and Dawkins tackles Jimmy into him for a suplex to get another two-count. Jey saves Jimmy from double team. Superkicks on both opponents from the Usos. Jimmy hits a Usos Splash on Dawkins to get a close two-count. Jey tags in and The Usos hit the double Usos splash. Jarrett waits for Jimmy to get out of the ring before starting the count. Ford comes in to break the pin. Jimmy is send out of the ring and so does Ford.

Jey misses Dawkins with his superkick and was about to nail Jarrett again but Jarrett catches his leg. Dawkins hits a spinebuster and Ford gets the tag. Ford hits a splash on Jey but he kicks out of the pin somehow. Ford now argues with Jarrett over something. Dawkins gets the tag. The Usos nails Ford with a double superkick as he goes for a dive. They also nail Dawkins with superkicks. Back to the ring, The Usos hit 1-D to get the pin.

Winners – The Usos

We get a video package for Charlotte Flair.

Riddle interrupts the commentators and takes the mic. Riddle says he is not medically cleared to compete. He says he is not going to take crap from Rollins still. He calls out Rollins to come out. Rollins comes out as his music hits. But, WWE crew interjects and stops him. Rollins runs down anyway. Riddle meets him halfway to start a brawl. They reach the ring quickly. Riddle nails Rollins with some side kicks. Rollins brings him down and hits him with a stomp. Adam Pearce could only scream at him to stop. Rollins leaves the ring after his act. Crew members are checking on Riddle.

Liv Morgan(c) vs Ronda Rousey – WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship

Rousey starts with a Judo throw. Liv gets back to her feet but Ronda nails him with quick punches. She hits a rising knee strike and goes for an ankle lock. Liv kicks her away. Ronda takes her down with a two-count. Liv tries to fight back but Ronda brings her down again. Liv hits elbows when Ronda goes for Piper’s Pit. Liv hits a kick.

Ronda goes for the armbar. Liv changes it into a crucifix, but Ronda’s shoulders were not on the mat. Ronda goes for armbar again and Liv once again counters with a saddle submission. Liv ends up hitting a crucifix driver to get a near fall. Liv sends Ronda to the floor. Ronda comes back and puts on armbar. Liv struggles but manages to get her legs on the ropes. Ronda puts on the armbar again and Liv has to roll over to get her legs on the ropes again.

Liv is getting checked by a doctor. Liv refuses to stop the match. Ronda brings Liv down again and puts on the armbar with her legs wrapped around the arm. Ronda’s shoulders were down on the mat as she puts more pressure on the arm. Liv taps out but the referee was busy in counting for the pin.

Winner – Liv Morgan

After the bell, Ronda tries to tell the referee about the tapout. The referee probably replies that her shoulders were down. Ronda gets angry and puts Liv in the armbar again. She lets her go when the referee tries to break it. Ronda then puts the referee in an armbar to hurt him also. Crew runs out to get things under control. Ronda leaves after a while. Liv recovers on the floor, but she does not seem happy as she collects her title.


WWE Hall of Famer and Mayor of Knox County, TN, Kane comes out and announces the attendance for tonight to be 48449. He poses ahd gets his fire pyro going.

Roman Reigns(c) vs Brock Lesnar – Last Man Standing Match for Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

Roman Reigns makes his entrance with Paul Heyman and The Usos. He gets the mic in the ring and asks the crowd to acknowledge him. Lesnar’s music cut him off. Lesnar comes down the entrance way but then returns back towards a Tractor(w/ a lift) parked near the stage. Lesnar wears his shirt and drives the tractor down towards the ring. Roman is bewildered as he watches from the ring. Lesnar parks the tractor in front of the ring and puts the lift near the ropes. He stand on top of the lift. Lesnar cuts off the introductions and goes his own. Roman gets announced and Lesnar jumps on Roman just as it ends.

Roman is clotheslined to the floor. Lesnar hits a German suplex on the floor. He sends Roman into the barricade and then into the steel steps. Lesnar hits a German suplex from the steel steps. Lesnar hits a spinebuster on the barricade. Lesnar takes Roman into the crowd and into a platform setup between the crowd. He goes for an F5 but Roman rakes his eyes. He pushes Lesnar into the pillar. Roman goes for a powerbomb but Lesnar drives him into the pillar. They are back to the ringside now. Lesnar hits another German suplex on the floor.

Lesnar brings out a table as Roman gets up on his legs. Heyman distracts Lesnar and Roman takes advantage by putting Lesnar through the table with a Samoan Drop. Lesnar gets up at 7. Roman hits him with a steel step. Roman sets up another table and hits an Urinage to put Lesnar through it. They return to the ring now and Roman nails Lesnar with a Superman punch and a spear. Lesnar makes it to his feet at 7 again. Roman goes for the spear again. Lesnar counters but Roman slips through the F5.

Lesnar sends him to the floor. Roman makes it to his feet at 8. Lesnar puts him through a broken table. Brock gets on the tractor again as the referee counts. He brings down the lift back to the floor. Lesnar hits Roman with a steel step and then with a broken piece of table. Roman gets up at 9 using the steel steps. Brock puts him in the lift. He lifts Roman with it and then dumps him into the ring.

Lesnar gets back to the ring when Roman gets up. He starts a series of suplexes on Roman. Roman keeps beating the count after each suplex. Brock hits an F5 now. Roman makes it to his feet using the ropes at 9 and a half. Brock goes for another F5 but Roman counters with Guillotine. Lesnar counters with Guillotine of his own. The referee checks on Roman and tells Brock that he is out. The referee starts to count again. Roman wakes up and gets to his feet again. Brock goes back to the tractor and pushes the ring with it. He lifts the ring with the lift. Roman goes tumbling down to the floor.

Roman gets back to his feet by using the barricade. The Usos attack Lesnar but he hit them with suplexes. Heyman distracts him again with some talk and hands him both the titles, asking him to leave his Tribal Cheif alone. Lesnar puts Heyman through the announce table. Roman hits Lesnar with a spear. Both men are down, but they make it to their feet to beat the count. Theory’s music hits and he runs down with a referee. Theory smacks the briefcase on Roman. He was going to cash in but Brock drops him with an F5. The Usos hit double superkick on Lesnar. Brock gets up at 9. Roman hits him with a spear on both the titles. Brock gets back up at 9 again.

Roman smacks theory with the MITB briefcase. He then goes to smack Lesnar with it multiple times. Lesnar gets up at 9 again. Roman slams him with the WWE title this time. Lesnar gets up again. Roman smacks him with the Universal title to drop him again. Roman and The Usos bury Lesnar under debris. They bury Lesnar under steel steps, chairs and anything they could find. Roman stands on top of debris as the referee completes the count.

Winner – Roman Reigns

Roman recovers and so does Paul Heyman. Roman, The Usos and Paul Heyman hug each other after Roman collects both of his titles. Roman walks back. Heyman is carried by The Usos behind him. Theory also get up and looks around. Roman raises his titles as the pyro goes off to close the show.
