WWE will be pre-taping SmackDown episode of September 2, 2022, at Little Ceaser’s Arena a week ahead of time.
The planned line-up has Karrion Kross’ in-ring debut in his second run, a “Final Judgement” segment with Ronda Rousey along with Roman Reigns’ celebration for two years of him winning the Universal Championship. Also, Maximum Male Models will be in action in a tag team match against Hit Row. The Viking Rules match between The Viking Raiders and New Day is also announced. Karrion Kross defeated Drew Gulak via pinfall. Scarlett was in Kross’ corner.
Ronda Rousey brings out Adam Pearce in her “Final Judgment” segment. Pearce lifts her suspension after Rousey has paid her fines. Pearce also says that her recent arrest was not justified since Ronda did not commit a crime. However, Pearce then says he wanted to fire Ronda as she is the biggest bitch he has ever met. Rousey attacks Pearce and puts him in an armbar.
Hit Row defeated Maximum Male Models in a tag team match. Los Lotharios attack Hit Row after the match. The Street Profits make the save.
Happy Baron Corbin issued an open challenge. Shinsuke Nakamura came out and defeated Corbin after dominating the match.
Butch defeated Ludwig Kaiser in a singles match. Gunther and Sheamus had a face-off after this match.
The Viking Raiders defeated The New Day in a Viking Rules match. The Vikings put Kofi through two tables stacked up on one another.
Sami Zayn and The Usos hosted Two Year Championship Celebration for Roman Reigns. Roman arrives in his SUV but Drew McIntyre drops him with a Claymore kick right away. McIntyre then comes out to the ring and takes down The Usos and Zayn. McIntyre dominated the brawl to close the show.
