Welcome to the live results blog for WWE SmackDown June 14, 2024 episode from Glasgow, Scotland, which has special start time of 2 PM ET(7 PM Local).

A big singles match is set for the show as Kevin Owens takes on “the replacement Tribal Chief” Solo Sikoa. Nia Jax will take on Michigan in another announced match, while Naomi will face Chelsea Green. With the show airing place just a day before Clash at the Castle, expect the build-up for certain matches at the PLE to continue, like the Cody Rhodes vs AJ Styles match for the Undisputed WWE title.

RESULTS & UPDATES

Naomi defeated Chelsea Green in a singles match. Green tried to use the ropes as leverage in the final moments but Bayley pushed her away. This led to an argument between Bayley and Piper Niven on the floor. Green got distracted with it, which allowed Naomi to roll up Green to get a pinfall.

Baron Corbin went to SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis’ office. Legado del Fantasma (Angel Garza, Berto Carrillo, Santos Escobar & Elektra Lopez) came in. Aldis then told Corbin that they would have their discussion later. Escobar asked Aldis to book him against Apollo Crews tonight.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill had a video package hyping their match at Clash At The Castle and claimed that they would retain the title.

WWE Tag Team Champions A-Town Down Under’s Grayson Waller & Austin Theory were back with a new episode of The Grayson Waller Effect with #DIY(Johnny Gargano & Tomasso Ciampa) as the guests. DIY threw out some of the furniture from the ring. They said they were tired of mind games and challenged for tag team title match tonight. Waller denied the idea. Gargano then tried to tell Theory how Waller was using him. He played the footage from last week where Waller pulled Theory into a suicide dive from Gargano during their match. Waller attacked Gargano in response. A brawl ensued where Waller once again pulled Theory into a superkick from Garagno. DIY stood tall in the brawl and posed with the tag team titles.

Kevin Owens was backstage with The Street Profits(Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) and B-Fab. They said that they had Owens’ back tonight as Owens had their back in the past and they also hated the Bloodline.

The camera followed Grayson Waller and Austin Theory to backstage as they discussed what happened in the segment. The camera then transitioned to Bayley and Naomi as they walked across. They walked into Blair Davenport, who had some words for Naomi. Bayley calmed down Naomi to ensure there was no fighting. They hug it out. Chelsea Green came around to distract them to allow Piper Niven to run over Bayley and Naomi from behind.

Santos Escobar defeated Apollo Crews in a singles match. Legado Del Fantasma tried to interfere in the match, but Corbin attacked them. In the commotion, Elektra Lopez was able to trip Crews before Escobar rolled him up to get the pinfall.

Andrade El Idolo, Cedric Alexander, Ashante Thee Adonis & Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) were shown in the first row.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes came to the ring. He hyped his “I Quit” Match against AJ Styles at Clash At The Castle and said Styles was starting to look like the guy that has overstayed his welcome in wrestling. AJ Styles came out to the stage with the rest of The OC(Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows). Cody told him to come into the ring and talk to him man to man. Styles told Gallows and Anderson to head to the back. Styles said while he moved up the ladder for nine years before joining WWE, but Rhodes quit WWE, NJPW, TNA, ROH, and then also quit the place he created himself. Cody replied that he had always left previous companies if there was something greater to achieve. Styles talked about Cody being a hard competitor but added that he would do anything he could to regain the WWE Title.

Cathy Kelley was interviewed The Street Profits(Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) and B-Fab backstage. Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa attacked them. Officials had to pull them away.

We got a promo from Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark backstage where they hyped that they would win the Women’s Tag Titles.

Nia Jax defeated “Michin” Mia Yim in a singles match. Michin hit Nia with a suicide dive during her entrance itself. Nia tackled her in the ring as the match began. Michin was able to send Nia into the ring post before Tiffany Stratton, who was on the commentary, started arguing with her. Stratton threw water at Michin which allowed Jax take control and hit the Banzai Drop to get the pinfall.

Kevin Owens was interviewed by Cathy Kelley where he talked about not having a backup after The Street Profits and B-fab were taken out by The Bloodline.

Logan Paul arrived at his house in Puerto Rico when his house help told him that his friend from LA was in the pool. It was LA Knight actually. Paul told Knight to get out of his house. Knight replied that Paul should come to SmackDown in Chicago next week.

Carmelo Hayes was in the suite at the OVO Hydro where he trashed both Logan Paul and LA Knight for a while before announcing his intentions to be part of Money In The Bank Ladder Match.

Nick Aldis informed The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa & Paul Heyman) that both Tongas were barred from ringside for Solo vs Owens match. Heyman warned Solo that if he lost tonight, he would lose his Head of The Table post to any of the Tongas. Solo replied that if he lost tonight, he was coming after Heyman. Heyman was flummoxed.

Jackie Redmond interviewed The Unholy Union(Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn) who hyped themseleves to win the women’s tag team titles on their home turf.

Solo Sikoa defeated Kevin Owens in a singles match. Owens hit a stunner on Solo, but Heyman put Solo’s leg on the ropes for a break. Owens then went to clear the table to put Heyman through it, but Solo hit him with a Samoan Spike on the floor. Solo hit another Samoan Spike to get the pinfall.

Tonga Loa & Tama Tonga attacked Owens after the match. Randy Orton ran out to make the save. Orton dropped Tama Tonga on the barricade with a back drop driver, Solo with a draping DDT and Tonga Loa with an RKO. Owens stood tall witht Orton to close the show.
