Welcome to the live results blog for WWE SmackDown July 19, 2024 episode, which will be the 1300th episode of SmackDown airing from Omaha, NB.
Andrade vs Carmelo Hayes is the only match announced a day in advance. The build-up for SummerSlam 2024 PLE will continue with WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa set to confront each other once again. Logan Paul returns to the show to sign the contract for match against LA Knight. Tune in below for the complete results.

Cody Calls Out Solo
Cody Rhodes came out to the ring. Multi-division Boxing World Champion Terrance Crawford was in the front row. Cody met him before getting into the ring. Cody said he felt guilty for Randy Orton being laid out by The Bloodline in front of him by the Bloodline. He called out Solo Sikoa as he wanted to look him in the eye and tell him he was not ready for being the World Champion. A-Town Down Under(Austin Theory & Grayson Waller) interrupted him and blamed him for Jacob Fatu attacking him. Cody tried to start infighting saying that Waller’s knee caused Theory’s right cheek to swell. They attacked Cody who was quickly handed a steel chair by Crawford to fight back.
Carmelo Hayes was back at barbershop where he cut a promo saying that he did not want a gimmick against Andrade, but just want two hoopers going at it against each other.
Cody Rhodes went to meet Nick Aldis and demanded a match against A-Town Down Under. Aldis gave him the match, but he needed to find a tag team partner.
Andrade vs Carmelo Hayes
After a quick start, Andrade landed on his feet when Hayes hit a hurricanrana. Andrade took Carmelo down with a boot who replied with a leg drop on the ropes before the break.
Andrade hit a clothesline as he started to fight back. Carmelo hit several punches before Andrade replied with open palm strikes and dragon screw legs. Carmelo was hit with Tijeras before hitting tijeras. Andrade pushed him off the top and hit a standing moonsault. Carmelo hit back with Codebreaker for a near fall. Andrade avoided “Nothing But Net” and hits Hammerlock DDT to get the pinfall.

Bayley & Nia in Virtual Face-off
Corey Graves interviewed Nia Jax & WWE Women’s Champion Bayley who both joined via video call. Jax promised to put Bayley out of her misery and win the title from her at SummerSlam. Bayley replied that Jax had not changed in all these years. Jax demanded to be called Queen Nia. Bayley went on to claim that she would walk out of SummerSlam as the champion.
We saw earlier today that Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill got into an argument with Chelsea Green and Piper Niven over who would talk to Nick Aldis first. Bianca ended up calling for a match to settle the issue.
Bianca Belair vs Chelsea Green
Chelsea fires off rights to catch Bianca by surprise. Bianca blocked Unprettier and hit back with a German suplex. Chelsea avoided handspring moonsault and KOD before rolling up Bianca for a two-count. Bianca countered with a roll-up himself to get the pinfall.
Winner – Bianca Belair
After the match, Jade Cargill joined Bianca in the ring while Piper Niven came in from the other side. Chelsea pulls Niven out of the ring before things could escalatte. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn appeared on the big screen to tell Belair and Cargill that they would consider giving them the title shots.
Logan Paul & LA Knight Face-to-Face
Nick Aldis was in the ring and brought out LA Knight and United States Champion Logan Paul. Logan asked why should he give Knight a title shot as he owned him everytime they had come face-to-face. Knight gave him props for becoming the champion, but brought up how he had pinned Logan last month. Knight then goaded Logan into agreeing for their title match by saying how Logan’s younger brother Jake had balls to get into the ring with Mike Tyson, but Logan had none. Logan got agitated and signed the contract for the match. Logan left the ring, but slided back in to attack Knight. Knight tried to hit BFT but Logan escaped.
Santos Escobar and Elektra Lopez interrupted LA Knight backstage where he said he was not pinned in their triple threat MITB Qualifier. Knight said if he wanted to prove something, he should do it next week against him.
Tiffany Stratton vs “Michin” Mia Yim
Tiffany started with a hair whip before Michin quickly tried to get a pin via rolls up only to get a two-count. Michin hit a dropkick a cannonball. Tiffany went to the floor where hit an Alabama Slam to take us to a break.
Post-break, Tiffany continued to hit her moves on Michin untill Michin countered another Alabama Slam. Michin hit a dropkick, neckbreaker and a Tornado DDT. Tiffany hit back with a forearm followed by a Hip Attack and a dropkick. Michin hit back on the top and followed by a missile dropkick. Nia ran an interruption to allow Tiffany to get back into the match.
Tiffany was looking for Prettiest Moonsault Ever but, but Bayley came out and grabbed Tiffany’s MITB briefcase to hit Nia. Bayley destroyed the briefcase and Tiffany watched on in anger. Michin took advantage by rolling up Tiffany to get the pinfall.
Winner – “Michin” Mia Yim
Solo Sikoa cut a promo from backstage with the rest of the Bloodline standing behind him. Solo fired a warning to any prospective tag team partner of Cody Rhodes that they would suffer at the hands of The Bloodline.
Kevin Owens met with Cody Rhodes backstage as he was revealed to be his tag team partner for tonight.
A-Town Down Under(Grayson Waller & Austin Theory) vs Cody Rhodes & Kevin Owens
Cody takes down Theory to start. KO comes in for double team briefly. KO and Theory brawled on the outside for a while. When Cody tagged back, Theory dropped him with a clothesline. Waller came in to target Cody’s spine. Cody dropped Waller on the top turnbuckle. KO came back for stomps, Atomic Drop and cannonball before Waller got his knees up on a Swanton Bomb. Theory came in to hit a dropkick and backbreaker. Waller hits an elbow drop to take us to a break.
A-Town Down Under were still in control after the break. KO fought back with big rights before hitting a Swanton Bomb on Waller. Cody got a hot tag to hit all his usual moves. He hit a Tornado DDT on Theory after Waller had got a blind tag. Waller blindsided him with a jumping flatliner. Rhodes sent Theory into Waller as he was looking for a jumping knee. Theory avoided it but Cody hit him with Cody Cutter. Owens hit a Stunner on Waller before and Cody hit Cross-Rhodes on Theory to get the pinfall.
Winner – Cody Rhodes & Kevin Owens
After the match, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tanga Loa came out. Cody hit them with a tope suicida on Solo and Tama before Owens dropped Loa. Cody beat up Solo on the announce table when Jacob Fatu attacked them with superkicks. Solo and Tama held Cody as Jacob destroyed KO. Cody was then sent through the announce desk with a Triple Powerbomb. A chair was put around KO’s throat before he was sent into the ring post. The Bloodline stood on top to close the show.
