The Usos to Become The Greatest Tag Team?

Roman Reigns comes out with the Usos and Paul Heyman. He poses in the ring with the Usos with all their belts. Roman asks the crowd to acknowledge him. He adds that tonight the crowd will acknowledge The Usos and The Bloodline and goes on to instruct Paul Heyman to tell us the reason behind it. Heyman goes at length to tell us about Roman’s greatness as the champion and his island of relevancy.

He goes to the Usos and brings up their previous generation tag team of Afa & Sika. Heyman says The Usos could be considered better than Afa and Sika by uniting the tag team championship. He claims they will be able to do the job tonight, and this is a spoiler. Roman takes the mic back and tells The Usos that they know what he wants and what he expects from them. He goes on to hug both of them.

Sami Zayn is watching this from backstage and is elated at Roman hugging The Usos. Nakamura makes his entrance for the match.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Sami Zayn

Side headlocks and arm wringers to start. Nakamura takes down Sami with an arm bar. He runs the ropes and drops Sami with a tackle. A kick and an enzuigiri follows. A knee drop from Nakamura before Sami pulls Nakamura to the mat. Sami nails a punch and clothesline to get a two-count. He goes to the top. Nakamura meets him there.

They trade punches to the body as Sami tries to block superplex. Sami manages to drop Nakamura back to the mat. Nakamura nails him with a shot, but later misses Kinshasa. Sami throws him over the ropes and to the floor to take us to the break.

Sami is in control as we return. Nakamura hits back with a running kick. Quick shots from Nakamura follow. He sets up for the sliding German suplex and hits it. Nakamura quickly follows it with a leg drop from the second rope. Sami ducks a roundhouse kick but Nakamura catches him on a spin. Sami runs to the floor to avoid Kinshasa. Sami hits the Blue Thunderbomb on the floor. The referee starts to count down, but Nakamura enters the ring at 8.

Sami stomps on Nakamura for a bit before taking Nakamura back to the floor. Nakamura slams him into the ringpost and then sends him into the timekeeper’s area. Sami beats the referee’s count, only for Nakamura to hit him with Kinshasa and get the pin.

Winner – Shinsuke Nakamura

Happy Talks

Corbin is in the ring for the happy talks segment. He goes to the floor near the Andre the Giant Battle trophy. He says that the trophy would look good with other things in his cabinet. We get a replay of Corbin’s attack on Madcapp Moss last week. Corbin says we should never try to step up. He talks about how Moss was his protege, but he did not appreciate every good thing that he had going, but who is laughing now.

Corbin goes back to the floor and throws the Andre the Giant Battle Royal trophy in to the steel steps. The trophy is broken now into pieces now. Corbin shows off the broken trophy to close the segment.

Gunther vs Drew Gulak

The match is already started as we return from a break. Gunther swings and misses in the corner. Gulak hits him with a chop. Gunther replies with a big boot and goes to hit big chops. Gunther hits a powerbomb and gets the win easily.

Winner – Gunther

After the match, Gunther puts on Boston crab on Gulak. This continues until Intercontinental Champion Ricochet comes out to the ring. Gulak and Ludwig Kaiser leave.


WWE Official Adam Pearce is in his office when Max Dupri(LA Knight) enters and introduces himself as the CEO of Maximum Male Models. He talks about his modelling agency having talents which could headline both Paris Fashion Week and WrestleMania. Pearce asks for more details and Dupri tells him that Sonya Deville signed them. Pearce tells Dupri that Sonya is removed as the official. Dupri replies that they already have a signed contract. Pearce tells him that he has to now reach out and make something work.


RK-Bro are backstage for an interview. Riddle brings up how he has beaten the Usos one by one week after week. RK-Bro 4:20 says he just smoked their a**es. Randy Orton says the Usos were sweating bullets earlier tonight because they know that after the smoke clears tonight, Roman Reigns is going to look down at them in disappointment and shame.


We see a recap of Raquel Rodriguez challenging SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey last week. Shotzi is watching the recap backstage. Aliyah comes in and says she could have been there if Shotzi had not locked her up. Raquel walks in and Shotzi tells her that she couldn’t beat Ronda because she has all the physical tools but she doesn’t know what to do with them. Shotzi challeges Raquel for a match. Raquel says something in Spanish.

Shotzi unloads with punches as the bell rings. Raquel picks her up and slams her into the corner. Raquel picks Shotzi up by one arm. She hits a shoulder tackle by picking one arm. Shotzi fires back with more shots of her own. Raquel slams her into the corner with double arm buckle bomb. Shotzi tries to counter in the corner and tries to use the ropes to hurt Raquel’s arm. She jumps on Raquel’s back for a sleeper.

Raquel runs her into the turnbuckle. Shotzi hits a spinning elbow and follows with more quick shots. Raquel counters a headscissor takedown and goes to hit a fallaway slam. She hits another fallaway slam before a corkscrew splash from the second rope. Raquel finishes the match with Gigoda bomb to get a pin.

Winner – Raquel Rodriguez

Xavier Woods is interviewed before his match against Butch. Woods says Kofi is on official trip or something and he will be out there alone. He also invites Butch to do the same thing and show us that he can do it by himself.

Butch vs Xavier Woods

They run the ropes to start. Butch is sent to the floor and hit with a suicide dive. Back to the ring, Butch stomps on his hand before mounting on him with punches. A chinlock ground Woods for a while. Woods gets back to his feet and hits body shots. A rolling thunder lariat from Woods drops Butch. Butch rakes his eyes from the fireman’s carry.

Butch hits a forearm and a pump kick. He sets up Woods on the top rope but Woods avoids the leg drop. He hits a Gamengiri. Butch catches him with an elbow as he jumps from the ropes. He unloads with punches on the mat. The referee has to pull him apart from Woods. Woods puts him inside cradle to get the pin.

Winner – Xavier Woods

Butch leaves the ring in frustration. Woods celebrates him win and goes to the stage. Sheamus and Ridge Holland appear behind him. Woods turns his attention towards them, but Butch runs him over from behind.

Xavier Woods is backstage for another interview. He says he is tired of the numbers game and it ends next week. With Kofi back next week, he has someone in mind for a six-man tag team match against the Brawling Brutes.


Michael Cole tells us that Sasha Banks and Naomi are suspended from WWE indefinitely due to their actions on Monday.

RAW Tag Team Champions RK-Bro(Randy Orton & Riddle) vs SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos(Jimmy Uso & Jye Uso) – Tag Team Championship Unification Match

Riddle starts against Jimmy and takes him down a couple of times. Orton comes in and drops Jimmy. He slams Jimmy’s hand to the mat a couple of times. Riddle hits an assisted senton. He takes Jimmy to the corner for a big chop. Jimmy reverses a whip from corner to corner. Jimmy puts on a chinlock now. Riddle gets back to his feet. The referee has paused the match and brings in a doctor to check on Riddle. We cut to a break.

The Usos hit a dobule team spinebuster as we return. Riddle has suffered an injury to his hip from the whip before the back, we are told. The Usos have cut the ring in half. The attack is focused on the back and the hip mainly. Jimmy puts on a waistlock and Riddle tries to tag out. Jimmy hits a suplex to stop him. Jey comes in and misses a clothesline. Riddle hits him with a pump knee.

Orton gets the hit tag and drops Jimmy with clotheslines and a powerslam. Jey comes in and gets hit with a powerslam. Orton hits draping DDT on Jimmy. He hits an RKO on Jimmy, only for Jey to break the pin. Jey tags himself in. Riddle tags in from the other side. Jey hits Randy woth a superkick. Riddle hits a Pele kick, running forearms in the corner, gutwrench suplex and a senton. Jey hits back with a pop-up neckbreaker for a near fall.

Riddle hits a back elbow. Jey trips him from the top rope. Jey goes to the top and Riddle joins him there. Paul Heyman distracts the referee and Roman helps out Jey by holding him down to stop a superplex. Riddle falls to the floor. Jey hits the Uso Splash and gets the pin.

Winner – The Usos

Roman attacks Riddle after the match. The Usos keep Orton out with double superkicks. The Bloodline continue to beat up Riddle. Roman puts on the guillotine choke on Riddle on the floor. The Usos hit Orton with the steel steps. They set up Riddle on the announce table and Jey hits him with an elbow drop to break the table. Roman puts on a guillotine on Orton for a while. Roman and The Usos come to the ring to celebrate with all the titles to close the show.

Tag Title Unification: Roman Reigns ordered The Usos to unify the tag team titles, but later, he ripped the contract for title unification match after getting pissed off by Randy Orton and Riddle. After WrestleMania Backlash, Orton was quick to remind The Bloodline about the tag title unification. After weeks of back and forth, the match is now set for this week at SmackDown. Who will triumph here? Will Bloodline hold all the world titles?

What’s Next for Ronda Rousey?: After beating Charlotte Flair for the title, Ronda Rousey successfully defend it against Raquel Rodriguez last week at SmackDown. Who will emerge as her next challenger?
