WWE SmackDown Live Results & Updates- 8 May 2020

After the break, we see the mystery hacker at his control panel. Some videos are run on a smaller screen with the videos of Tamina Snuka. Lacey Evans, The New Day, Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Carmella, and Dana Brooke. The mystery man says, “the best thing about anger is you can always hear it before you can see it.” He plays a voicemail saying “payback is coming and it’s coming real soon.” A message flashes on the screen- “The truth will be heard.”

Daniel Bryan, Drew Gulak & Mystery Partner vs Baron Corbin, Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro

Baron Corbin and his team entered before the break. Daniel Bryan and Drew Gulak comes out now. Their mystery partner is Otis. The bell rings and Bryan charges at Corbin right away. Bryan keeps unloading at Corbin until Corbin fights back. Bryan blocks the Boston Crab and start unloading on Corbin once again. Gulak tags in for double team. Corbin gets a punch on Gulak to halt their momentum. Gulak sends him out with a dropkick.

Cesaro tags in and hits a shoulder tackle on Gulak. They tangle for a bit and Gulak hits a powerslam to get a two-count. Nakamura comes in with a big uppercut. Cesaro hits Gutwrench suplex to Gulak before Nakamura tags in. Gulak fights back and tags in Otis. Otis unloads on Nakamura and then knocks others off the apron. Otis slams Nakamura to the mat and hits the Caterpillar elbow drop. Cesaro runs in but Otis slams him. Gulak and Bryan toss Cesaro to the floor where Nakamura and Corbin are. We go to commercial.

During the commercial, Bryan was caught during a dive and sent over the barricade. Corbin is keeping him in a chin lock/arm stretch combo. Bryan fights back and drops others from the apron but Corbin drops him. Bryan tries for the tag. Cesaro tags in and knocks Otis off the apron. Gulak tags in and beats Cesaro into the corner with strikes. Gulak catches a kick and launches Cesaro over his head. Cesaro hits a big uppercut as Gulak goes to the top. Gulak tosses Cesaro and rolls him into submission.

Cesaro uses his power to slam Gulak with a powerbomb. Gulak clotheslines Cesaro to the floor. Corbin tags in to get beaten up by Gulak. Gulak puts him in the Gu-Lock and Nakamura breaks it. Otis comes in to take care of Nakamura. Cesaro comes in against Otis. Otis starts hulking up and tosses Cesaro over the top rope. Corbin does the same thing to Otis. Gulak hits a flying clothesline on Corbin. Cesaro sends Otis into the ring post on the outside. Bryan hits a running knee to Cesaro and Nakamura takes him down with a big kick. Corbin hits Deep Six on Gulak in the ring to get the pin.

Winners- King Corbin, Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro

After the match, Cesaro and Nakamura hold Gulak as Corbin grabs his scepter. Bryan and Otis run in to save him. Otis, Bryan and Gulak fight Cesaro and Nakamura on the floor now. Gulak takes down everyone with a dive. Corbin is left alone in the ring. He looks up at the MITB briefcases hanging in the ring. Corbin brings a ladder, places it in the middle, and starts climbing. Bryan runs back and unloads on him on the ladder.

Corbin slams Bryan into the ladder. He climbs the ladder again but Otis takes him down now. Otis grabs the ladder and knocks Corbin out of the ring. Otis tries to climb the ladder but the bottom rung breaks. Corbin runs in and sends Otis into the ladder. Corbin sends Otis to the floor and also fights out against Bryan. Bryan fights back and climbs the ladder. Corbin knocks Bryan off the ladder. Corbin takes down the briefcase and raises it in the air as SmackDown goes off the air.
