WWE Friday Night SmackDown Live Results & Updates 15 May 2020

After the match, Renee Young comes to the ring for some comments from Bryan. Bryan recalls how in 2015, he was forced to relinquish the title and had to retire. Since then, he has never got any shot to get the title back. He says he wants to make the title the no. 1 on SmackDown and defend it every week.

Back from the break, Michael Cole announces the following matches for next week – Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley plus Otis and Mandy Rose vs. Sonya Deville and Dolph Ziggler. Intercontinental Championship tournament matches will also take place next week- AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura, Sheamus vs Jeff Hardy.

Sonya Deville and Dolph Ziggler are backstage. They’re going to humiliate Mandy Rose and Otis next week. Deville goes on and predicts Rose will be barefoot in a trailer, cooking dinner for Otis and a bunch of kids one day. Deville goes on about how Rose will never have the skill or mind she does. She still has lots of plans to ruin Rose’s life. Deville calls Rose a b—h and blows her a kiss.

The Miz and John Morrison vs Otis and Braun Strowman

The Miz and John Morrison are out for the match. Otis comes out along, with his briefcase in his hands. Miz and Morrison mock him that he could not find any partner. But their faces turn red when WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman comes out.

Otis and Morrison start the match. Morrison with an enziguiri, dropkick and other moves but he is unable to drop Otis. Otis hulks up and takes down Morrison with a shoulder tackle. He slams Morrison into the mat. Miz tries to get in but Otis knocks him off the apron. Otis puts down Morrison again and tags in Strowman. Otis asks Braun to do the Caterpillar with him. Braun and Otis hit double elbow on Morrison after Catterpillar.

Back from the break and Miz is in control. During the commercial, Miz used raked Otis’ eyes with a thumb. Miz hits him with the “It Kicks” in the corner and then a few running shots. Mix hits the axe handle now. Otis gets on his knees now as Miz hits him more kicks. He starts to hulk up but Miz kicks him on the face and grounds Otis with a chinlock. Morrison tags in and Otis ends up hitting the double suplex on both opponents.

Strowman gets the tag. Strowman splashes Miz and launches him across the ring out of the corner. Strowman runs around the ring after Morrison, who hops the barrier to safety. Braun keeps running and levels Miz. Braun brings Miz back in and Morrison isn’t there for him to tag. Braun charges but Morrison makes the tag and moves Miz to safety. Morrison unloads on Braun now with kicks and punches. Braun is stunned. Braun grabs Morrison out of nowhere and delivers a powerslam in the middle of the ring for the pin to win.

Winners- Braun Strowman and Otis

After the match, Strowman and Otis stand tall in the ring. Mandy Rose comes out to her music and Braun gets distracted. Otis teases a cash-in but ditches it as soon as Strowman turns back. Otis says he was just messing around for the laugh. Braun stares him down for a second. Otis hugs Mandy as she enters the ring. The show go off the air.
