WWE Smackdown January 26: Women’s Tag Title & 2 More Matches Set
WWE has announced 3 matches for SmackDown January 26, 2024 episode including Women’s Tag Team Championship match.
Women’s Tag Team Champions Katana Chance & Kayden Carter defeated The Unholy Union(Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn) to retain the titles on this week’s SmackDown episode. After the match, Kabuki Warriors pairing of Asuka and Kairi Sane confronted them.
The reigning champions were quick to accept the challenge before WWE made their showdown official for next week’s Smackdown.
LWO vs Legado Del Fastasma rivalry will continue with a singles match between Carlito and Santos Escobar. Escobar sneaked on Carlito to get a pinfall via roll-up during a trios match between the two sides on SmackDown this week. Carlito will have a chance for revenge next week.
Carlito and Escobar were set to clash earlier at Survivor Series, but the match was canceled after Carlito suffered an injury from an attack from Escobar.
Carmelo Hayes and Austin Theory will also run back their singles match on January 26 episode of SmackDown. Their previous encounter was stopped midway after they both suffered facial contusions on January 12 episode. Theory interjected Hayes this week and got a challenge for a rematch in response. Grayson Waller accepted the challenge from Theory’s behalf.
Karrion Kross also named the time and place for The Final Testament showdown with Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits. Kross’ new stable targetted Lashley’s faction when they first arrived to SmackDown at New Year’s Revolution special.
January 26, 2024 episode of SmackDown will be the go-home show for Royal Rumble 2024 and will air from Kaseya Center in Miami, FL. The complete line-up is as below:

- Bobby Lashley & Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) meet Final Testament face-to-face
