WWE SmackDown August 25: Jimmy Uso Sement & Waller vs Rey Mysterio Set
WWE has announced a segment and a match for August 25, 2023, episode of SmackDown, including the Jimmy Uso segment and Rey Mysterio vs Grayson Waller.
During the August 18 episode of SmackDown, Paul Heyman was backstage in an interview with Kayla Braxton. During the interview, Heyman revealed that Jimmy Uso will be live on next week’s episode of SmackDown. The news was revealed after Heyman answered a phone call. Braxton also asked Heyman about the source, but he chose not to reveal it.
During the August 11 episode of SmackDown, Jimmy Uso confronts and talks about the betrayal he committed against Jey during the SummerSlam 2023 PLE. Subsequently, at the end of the show, it was also seen that Jey declared his departure from The Bloodline, WWE SmackDown, and the WWE as a whole.

The United States Champion Rey Mysterio is also scheduled for August 25 episode of SmackDown, where he will face Grayson Waller in a non-title match.
During the August 18 episode of SmackDown, Mysterio was present at Grayson Waller effect show. During the show, Austin Theory also defeated LA Knight to become the #1 contender for the United States Championship.
Rey Mysterio won the United States Championship on August 11 episode of SmackDown by defeating Austin Theory.
