WWE Releases Dana Brooke, Dabba-Kato, Shanky, Montana & Others
WWE has released more individuals on September 21, 2023. Below is the list of the superstars.
Bryson Montana made his debut on the May 20, 2022 episode of NXT Level Up. His one appearance on NXT television was during the March 21 episode when he participated in the WWE NXT North American Title Qualifying Battle Royal. Montana’s last match took place on the June 16 episode of NXT Level Up, where he lost to Boa.

Dana Brooke has also been released by WWE. Brooke is a former WWE 24/7 Champion, holding the title 15 times during his WWE career. Brooke’s last wrestling match took place on the September 12 episode of NXT, where he faced Lyra Valkyria and was defeated.
Dabba-Kato has also been let go by WWE. His last appearance in the wrestling ring was during the September 5th episode of NXT, where he suffered a defeat at the hands of Tyler Bate. His first appearance on WWE television took place during the WWE Greatest Royal Rumble event held in Saudi Arabia.
Shanky was also removed from WWE. His most recent match occurred at WWE Superstar Spectacle 2023 event, where he faced Gunther for the Intercontinental Title and suffered a loss.
Yulisa Leon is another name released by WWE. Her last match was on the August 1 episode of NXT, where she partnered with Valentina Feroz in a tag team match against Elektra Lopez and Lola Vice but ended up on the losing side.
Daniel McArthur’s journey has also ended in WWE. McArthur inked his WWE contract following the tryouts held after the WWE SummerSlam 2022 event. Before joining WWE, he won four-time NCAA All-American and ACC Track & Field Champion from the University of North Carolina. He never had the opportunity to make his in-ring debut for WWE.
Alexis Gray’s departure is also confirmed by WWE. She was revealed as a member of the 2023 Performance Center Rookie Class, but unfortunately, she never had the chance to make her in-ring debut.

Brooklyn Barlow has also been released from WWE. Her most recent match occurred on the August 18 episode of NXT Level Up, where she faced Dani Palmer and suffered a loss. Her sole appearance on NXT television was on the June 6 episode when she participated in the WWE NXT Women’s Title #1 Contendership Battle Royal.
