WWE Champion Brock Lesnar RAW 30 March 2020

The show opens up with the recap of the storyline between AJ Styles and The Undertaker. We cut to a pre-recorded promo from The Undertaker, replying to AJ’s proposition of a Boneyard match. He calls AJ by his real name. He also says that AJ does not have it to hang against the Attitude Era legends like Steve Austin, The Rock, Mick Foley, Booker T, and others.

Taker also mocked AJ by saying that AJ may be bringing his wife Michelle McCool into this since she does the faith-breaker(Styles Clash) better than him. He also accused Styles of trying to use him to become relevant in WWE. Undertaker also asks Styles to bring Gallows and Anderson with him since Taker will also bring the holy trinity- Hurt, Pain, Rest in Peace.

Next, we are getting the replay of the WWE RAW & SmackDown Women’s Championship match between Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair from WrestleMania 35.

Becky Lynch comes out to the stage after the match and cuts a promo on Shayna Baszler. She says that Baszler just wants to do what her pal Ronda Rousey could not do last year. Baszler comes from behind to catch Becky in a Kirifuda clutch. She ends up slamming Becky into the announce table before leaving her reeling on the floor.

Aleister Black defeated Jason Cade(enhancement talent) in a short match after quick kicks and Black Mass.

Kevin Owens & Street Profits defeated Angel Garza, Austin Theory & Seth Rollins. Andrade was supposed to be in this match earlier. However, Zelina Vega informed us that Andrade is not medically cleared, and will be replaced by the hottest free agent, Austin Theory. A longer back and forth tag team match continued. The finish came after KO hit a stunner on Angel Garza.

After the match, Seth Rollins immediately hit Owens with the curb stomp. After the break, Owens is alone in the ring and cuts a promo on Rollins. Owens highlighted how he became Universal Champion before Rollins and how Rollins’ all WrestleMania wins have come with someone’s help or some underhanded tactics.

We get the recap of Edge vs Randy Orton storyline for the WrestleMania match. Edge is backstage now in a pre-recorded promo. He refutes Orton’s claim that he is a junkie for crowd reaction and says if Orton or any wrestler does not live for it, he is in his way. He continued his promo for a while, discounting Orton’s claim that he has the grit to make it into WWE.

Edge finished up by saying that Orton hasn’t been this good since Edge was around 9 years ago. He inspires that passion in Orton and Orton won’t be able to pull himself back out after Edge would beat him at WrestleMania.

Asuka defeated Kaydon Carter in a singles match. After the match, Asuka cut a promo on her WWE WrestleMania opponents, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, in Japanese.

NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley was attacked from the side by Charlotte Flair as she was entering WWE Performance Center. Flair looked down at Ripley and taunted her, calling her a rookie. After Flair left, Ripley says she will see her this weekend.

We get the replay of WWE Champion Brock Lesnar vs Rey Mysterio, No Holds Barred match at Survivor Series 2019. Rey’s son Dominic also got involved in the match but Lesnar managed to retain the title.

Brock Lesnar is in the ring with Paul Heyman. Heyman cuts the promo and says this is the go-home segment of go-home RAW for WrestleMania and more often than not, Lesnar is involved in those promos. Heyman puts over Drew McIntyre for being better than others in WWE’s current roster. But he reiterates that Lesnar will still emerge victorious at WrestleMania just like he came out victorious against the likes of The Rock, Hulk Hogan, John Cena, Undertaker and others.\

Heyman also discounts McIntyre’s Claymore kick and guarantees us that Lesnar will still be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion after WrestleMania.
