WWE Monday Night RAW Live Results & Updates- 18 May 2020

The Viking Raiders and The Street Profits prepare for the ax-throwing contest. The Profits don’t look too thrilled as they watch Erik and Ivar warm up. We go to the commercial. The comedy goes on as Angelo Dawkins tells Montez Ford that this is nothing like Thor.

Aleister Black vs Murphy

We go back to the ring and out comes Aleister Black. He’s in a hurry and ready to fight. Murphy and Seth Rollins watch from the ring.

Black hits the ring and unloads, rocking Murphy into the corner. Murphy decks him coming out of the corner. The referee backs them off but they just keep fighting. We see Austin Theory still down at ringside from the beating he just took. Seth Rollins stares down at Theory. Murphy and Black keep going at it. Murphy turns it around after ducking a big kick, which forced Black to kick the ring post.

More back and forth in the ring now. Black and Murphy both go down in the middle. Rollins offers a hand to Theory and helps him up at ringside. They stare at each other and Theory doesn’t look so sure of Rollins. Black and Murphy tangle and Black nails a big knee. Black goes to hit Black Mass on Murphy but Rollins apparently orders him into the ring. Theory rushes into the ring and attacks Black for the disqualification.

Winner by DQ- Aleister Black

After the bell, Rollins also enters the ring. He looks on as Black gets double teamed by Theory and Murphy now. Murphy with a big knee to Black’s face and Theory drops Black with the ATL. Rollins walks over to Theory and hugs him as Murphy looks on.

The axe-throwing contest takes place and The Viking Raiders dominate. The Street Profits could not get much. Their last shot hits the target though and The Vikings infact celebrate with them. It turns out that Profits were also faking about their inability at axe-throwing like the Vikings did last week at Basketball. Police also gets involved at one point after one of the axe gets stuck on their car.

Charly Caruso is with Apollo Crews at backstage. Crews goes on and challenge Andrade for the US title match. Zelina Vega interrupts and tells Crews that he has a choice either to cut his losses and walk away or step into the ring with Andrade next week and never walk again. Crews retorts at Vega before the segment comes to an end.

Drew McIntyre vs Baron Corbin

Drew McItyre makes his way to the ring. Baron Corbin comes out after the break. Bobby Lashley comes out to the stage with MVP. MVP says he and Lashley have taken a personal interest in this match. Lashley takes the mic tells McIntyre that he is coming for the WWE Title.

They lock up and tussle for while until they come to a stalemate. Corbin pushes away McIntyre and McIntyre responds with the same. They lock up again and Corbin hits a knee to the gut. Corbin gets some attack going now. McIntyre dodges Corbin in the corner and hits a running shoulder tackle. He throws Corbin over the rope and clotheslines him over the barricade. Another clotheslines over the barricade before McIntyre takes him to the ring. He waits for Corbin to get up for Claymore but Corbin moves out.

McIntyre chases Corbin but Corbin comes back in and catches McIntyre on his way back. Corbin decks McIntyre for a while. WWE champion tries to fight back but Corbin takes him down with a clothesline for a two-count. More back and forth and Corbin sends McIntyre to the apron. He slams McIntyre’s head to the ringpost and sets him up at the top turnbuckle to hit the superplex. Corbin covers but McIntyre kicks out after 2.

McIntyre hits the overhead belly-to-belly suplex and then a clothesline from the top to get a two-count. A spinebuster from McIntyre after Corbin tries to counter. Corbin avoids the futureshock DDT and rams McIntyre into the ringpost. Corbin gets a near fall after a side slam. Corbin gets frustrated. He goes to the top but McIntyre catches him to hit the futureshock DDT. McIntyre gets ready for the Claymore, only to run into the deep six from Corbin. Corbin still could not get the pin though. Corbin charges and McIntyre hits him with Glasgow kiss headbutt and follows it with Claymore kick to get the win.

Winner- Drew McIntyre

After the match, MVP tells Lashley to attack Drew., but Lashley does not. Drew looks at MVP and Lashley and shouts at them that he wants to fight Lashley and how the WWE Universe has been waiting for Lashley to step up. The show goes off the air.
